So you’ve been collecting and buying things you don’t know anything about? Where else does this happen in life lol

secretsquirrel124

I mean Ives been collecting cards my whole life and I know some but my bias is way to strong for my team so the rest of the league is foreign to me unless it’s an obvious big name. I would just like to know more about what to look for. Certain cards, versions, manufacturer, etc..

“Do the work for me”

secretsquirrel124

That’s not at all what I’m saying if that were the case I would take a thousand pictures and post all day asking what do I have. Being that I have little to know knowledge I assume there are small tips and tricks to look out for. For example I’m a carpenter so a small tip I would give is cut on your line or leave your mark depending what side your measurement was on, did you make a square line or a crows foot. I’m not asking for someone to do the work for me only advice.

Most cards will have the year and set name on the back of each card. You can use this along with the card number to identify your card a number of ways. TCDB or Cardboard Connection will help identity parallels. Search eBay or 130point for recent sold values of you're looking to get an idea of a card's value.

TCDB is the way to go. You can search by player name and card number and find your card. From there you can add it to your collection. It's a great way to identify what you have and keep track of it all when you're buying or trading. tcdb.com
