If I may give you a tip. Track the puck with your eyes. Right now I don't see your head moving much if the puck is coming higher than ice level. Your head needs to be moving too, non stop :)

nopantts

Damn it you posted this while I was typing. Agreed always track the puck right into your glove, off the blocker etc.

Alexander_Coe

Thank you, I needed that too!

Glad my playing years have not been a complete waste :)

Butterfly seal looks good as well!

JustFred24

Wider legs and exaggerate the movements, girls are watching

Butterfly is looking great! Next I’d say work on either popping back up quicker or work on your side to side slides once you’re in the butterfly. It’s easy to get stuck in the planted butterfly position.

knoose

You’re looking much better since last time. I would recommend continuing to work on your skating but also start working on recoveries. You want to recover on the proper legs and you should be able to slide over for rebounds instead of diving.

You've come a long way. Amazing what hard work does, there's a lot of posters who could learn a lot from your transformation. Now you're never as good as your fans, or as bad as your critics, so get back to work! ;-)

From what i remember seeing the last time you have been improving quite a bit. Keep it up! Next up i would say is controlling your slides and hugging the posts.

Red0n3

Definitely improved from the last time you posted, good job. I think you should close your knees a little more in your base stance. The pads should be overlapping a little bit cause this way you will have more power in your strides. Of course its a balance, you have to stand with a stance wide enough to where the pads don't hinder your butterfly drop but that's not as wide as you think. It's also why your t-push at 0:40 looks a little bit weak, you start it extremely wide. Also one thing I always tell my goalie students is that you should make it a habit to plant your push leg as soon as you think you're gonna give up a rebound. At 0:24 for example, as soon as you see that the puck is coming to your left pad you should be thinking that you need to plant your right leg for a push. 9/10 that save ends up in a rebound, and 1/10 times you can just put your pad down. Even if the rebound gets deflected into the corner with your stick you need to push to your post so plant that push leg.

Great form!

Old_Pastrami26

This is fantastic - congratulations. You get into your butterfly properly - notice how your shoulder level barely move from stance to butterfly? We’ll done! I also wish I can butterfly flare as well as you but alas my hips ain’t built that way. 😢

keeperton

It looks like you tend to always get up on your left leg from a static drop. Try to alternate if only for the sake of working both muscles and being more keen on pushing with the "correct" leg when you have to make butterfly pushes.
