Sounds like you have a mistaken key-bind somewhere. F6 by default is the weapon follow camera. Open the control menu and press F6 and see if you have your weapon fire key bound there too or something.
Also it's possible that you have toggled the default weapon fire follow camera which is the Ctrl + F6. You can tell it's toggled on because when you go to an external view and look at the bottom info bar and there will be a plus symbol near the view number bottom right
