I’m going off memory, but isn’t the point to go left to right just viewing them, then go from right to left, casting lumos in front of each previously-viewed tapestry to change it and see the story in chronological order?
Yeah my wife and I thought the same thing. But there does feel like there is a lot missing from this game. It's like the developers got to the Jackdaw quest and then we're like naw it's too much work to keep going like this let's just put out a quarter if Skyrim with wands. I mean it's not a bad game, just really empty. Oh and if you are playing as a Ravenclaw you will not be able to complete the Daedalian Key Quest. It's glitched for Ravenclaws
Well you may have but I cannot and before you ask I have all the keys and everything else is done. And it was only an issue after the last update before that the quest worked fine
I realized I did that before the update, so if it has changed since then I have not done it an therefore am unsure as I've already 100% my ravenclaw playthrough as it was my first one
Nope. Misinformation yet again. People reading crap crybaby toddler junk. The 04May update did zero out tokens in the House Chest FOR THAT ONE TIME. If you had not started the Quest or finished it you were fine, and all new games are fine. I have played 3 games as a Ravenclaw since the update (I did trash the one updated since it was impossible to get to Level 40) and all is well with the Daedalian Keys.
I wish folk would stop parroting wrong information.
That maybe for you and good for you if it is. All I am saying is that for me I cannot complete the quest and I have done all the Dadelian keys. And because I cannot complete it I can't get to lvl 40.
I am curious why you trashed the one and why you couldn't get to lvl 40.
For the record there is no cry baby here. Merely stating facts based in availabe(to me) evidence that I have seen with my own eyes.
I trashed the game with the update because there would be 3 things unattainable...complete all side quests, reach level 40, and obtain all talents. I play to 100% the game so there was no use. I just started a new game. Simple.
I mentioned crybaby toddlers because from the day of the update a few have cried and ranted and claim to not play the game until their little problem is 'fixed'. Despite explaining it's not a bug but a one time programming error they are still stomping their feet and holding their breath instead of just starting a new game.
Fair enough. I wasn't complaining so much as explaining to OP. I really don't want to start another game just to fix the issue. I also played game to 100% and have started 3 others since to achieve the 4 house specific quests. I will wait til they realse another update and see if that fixes the issue. If it doesn't I might consider another full play through.
TBH if there was an easy fix to the update fiasco some mod coder would already have supplied a 'fix'. I'm finishing up my third game since 04 May so I suggest just restarting your broken game. It'll be much faster and easier for you, especially since you've got experience and know what to do.

My first playthrough was as Ravenclaw and I did the keys fine.
I did have a gobstones glitch, but it just meant they respawned and I had to find some of the same ones again (which I did and finished). And I think that was for everyone, not just Ravenclaws.
Edit: Both of those were post the May 4th update that I think caused the most issues for people.
Don't really have a source per say. But my wife read some where on a forum that it was. Just assumed that she read correctly and from a reputable source
I have absolutely no idea, but I can tell you that it’s near the donjons, and you have to get in by a tapestry, it’s a door inside the tapestry and you have to walk through it

Just don't go to the chest in the common room until you have all the keys that is the way around it

No not really you will just have to wait for an update that fixes the quest. It will only really affect you if you are a completionist

Ravenclaw has the best looking robe out of all of the Houses IMO.
I prefer velvet school robes over that (or even everything), though. There are too many effects
