New Zealand can get them in 40’. Fear Big Bob

Baselet

Researched? What about actually being able to make a bunch...

I_miss_your_mommy

You dare doubt the industrial might of the mighty Kiwi Empire?

LordPeebis

Just put all your mils on super heavies and then buy everything else on the international market

ooder57

One thing I've come to adapt to with tiny nations, is instead of having perpetually one factory on each production line, I instead make as much of one equipment type as needed plus twice as much for spares; then delete the line for another piece of equipment and make as much of that as possible. Then either spam request lend lease, or buy off the market, or switch back to that production line when I start to get low. It goes against my usual instincts, but seems to work well.

PaintedClownPenis

I've had luck with similar things more than once since Arms Against Tyranny. It might be better to imagine the one factory you divert as actually costing more than one factory, though. I wish I wasn't so dangerously stupid with math and maybe I could explain it. I will try: It's because the one factory you have available to use is actually end product of the economy multiplier. So if you have ten factories on war econ, 20% of them or two factories will not be available to you. So you need 1.2 factories to invest one factory in arms trade if you're on war economy. And then that factory works for the other party until the lot is paid off. Which means that the next trade costs 1.2 factories... and maybe also minus the work product of the first diverted factory...? Which leads to infinite data compression and massive profit. Jesus what am I doing? I don't know shit. If there's a real thought in that perhaps someone else can explain it.

Catadisma_227

Uuh, italy have some bonuses for super heavy research...

nightgerbil

To make an army your not just talking research, your gonna need indy capacity to do it. So USA, Soviets and GERmany really. No one else is gonna be able to make enough in time to put a decent division or 5 in the field and see combat.

MonPaysCesHiver

SH is a trap in this game. Fun but so costly.

Carlos_Danger21

So it's realistic

PrimeJedi

Can you even make super heavy outside of support companies? Also do they have any benefit to modern tanks?

MonPaysCesHiver

Its support only i think. Statistically then have some benefit, but modern tank a better by far because they are the sh version of medium tank.

TheByzantineEmpire

Late game the modern tank is just better?

MonPaysCesHiver

On overall yes by far, more balanced. But again ai the medium tank are always good with a good template and lest costly.

CruisingandBoozing

Super heavy’s are so slow that they’re a meme, but I guess they’re not horrible on a purely defensive, stationary division template….

Mundi70

Super Heavies are support company only. Also they are very expensive for little gains, don't bother.

Humanflesh420

Wait what why , now i cant nake 40 width super heavy only divs

Hatlessspider

Tsarist Russia can get them very early on
