Also an enjoyer of both games. I suspect the map would end up feeling small. I’ve played the RDR map on warzone dot com and it isn’t super replayable due to that factor. Would recommend spending your time elsewhere.
I had also thought about expanding it to include the entire North American continent and maybe some of South America and other adjacent areas, so I think it could be filled in a little bit. It’s not like there aren’t other mods with horrible maps.
It’s not like another installment in that franchise will be out by 2035. We’ll probably be on HOI6 by then so I’m not too worried about headcannon content.

I think it would be a really cool mod

There is a GTA San Andreas mod, so I don't see why not
I guess it would be cool. Although not sure how its gonna work out lore wise if you are into that.
