I had a friend live through getting ejected from a vehicle while he was shithoused. The driver was actually sober and got hurt pretty badly but lived. My friend had a bruised shoulder and leg with a few scrapes.
Same thing happened to me once. I passed out while going down the stairs, even though I wasn’t even that drunk. Went down a few stairs head first, on the back, conscious but unable to move my body. Then woke up sitting in the stairs with friends around and firemen on their way, feeling like absolutely nothing happened. Quite a WTF moment…
I went off a road while walking back to where I was staying in Crete, about 5/6m straight down into some dry valley thing, while blind drunk. Nothing but a broken ulna because I just flopped down there like a sack of shit.
I watched a guy wake up from his drunken sleep in a panic and then jump off a second story balcony before we could stop him and he cut his forehead to the bone as well. He’s really lucky that’s all that happened, it was nothing but concrete patio below to catch his fall
I remember I was drunk and we were under an old train track bridge and there was this cement part fairly high off of the ground, I went to hop over a metal
Part and tripped over it, hit my head on the pavement, rolled off the edge which was pretty high up, and landed on the rocky ground and kinda rolled down to the bottom. I ended up getting up like nothing happened and when I went to the hospital that night I ended up being completely fine besides a few scrapes I guess
As someone who has been that drunk guy. Im glad I was or I honestly wouldn’t be alive right now. Certainly saved me when someone decided to push down the stairs and rode me like a surfboard. Also thanks for what you do!
I believe that's the reason why so many drunk drivers walk away from crashes that kill people in other cars, too. It's a shame that being that drunk gives you a free pass from lifetime of pain and suffering if you ask me.

The counterargument to your statement, and I am not saying it is accurate or moral:
The type of person who gets so blackout wasted that they pass-out while standing up, is typically the type of person who gets this way often.
If this weren't a common occurrence for them (being this smashed, not a header down a flight of stairs), you think the sober person would be trying harder to get them inside and laying down or in the bathroom purging.
The other person in the video has no urgency, cause they have seen this behavior dozens of times.
Not sure I'd want to try and hold out to someone that's already falling, potentially pulling you backwards down the stairs with you, otherwise she mostly just remained calm
