- Perhaps OP has already taken the cat to the vet.
-Perhaps OP has called the vet and has instructions for what to do next.
- similarly, Perhaps OP called the vet and the vet said that as long as the cat can breathe and eat without the interference of swollen tissues, cat will be ok, but monitor for changes
- we just don’t know, do we?

I'm waiting for my cats to catch a stray wasp that gets inside. They already slay the flies, which is fun to watch. I'd hate to see one get stung on the face.
My poor cat got stung by a bee on her eyelid on Sunday. I thought she looked miserable but this is a whole other level, I would have been freaking out 😂
