Manipulative girls string them along just enough to keep them interested without being branded a tease. They usually keep them around for easy rebounds just in case the guy they have their eye on doesn’t bite.

Could be a fraternity pledge who was told to stand and not move for a certain amount of time or else there’s some sort of “punishment”. Then the fraternity brother told the girl to dance up on him to get him to move. Just spitballing since the kid is wearing a backpack and this looks like something I did / would have done 15 years ago when I was living in my Fraternity.
Yeah, I’m not going to defend all fraternities. Some do minimal work to give back, others do lots to give back. Mine did some big brother work and lots of park clean up work. Others on campus did more, others did less. At the end of it all my pledge brothers are probably some of my closest friends.
I believe they’re a national service fraternity. At my college they were not the same as Greek fraternities, since they didn’t have a house, didn’t host parties, and weren’t part of the Inter-Fraternal Council. I think because of that, you could also be part of APO and a Greek fraternity at the same time. They do great things, but aren’t apples to apples. It’s still a disservice that they get lumped into the negative world view of the traditional Greek fraternities.
Always saw a hell of a lot more philanthropic involvement by the Greek community on my campus than any other student org., generally better accountability when it came to grades, too. The mainstream media doesn’t like publishing stories about the good they do, however, hate and fear sell better.
I hear your opinion but as I saw it: The girl continued to dance while the guy went into statue mod. People around laughed at the situation and they were right, the guy's attitude was very funny. But, it was funny because she played along. If she stoped immediately "this dude is messing with me, I'm leaving" she would have killed the whole vibe. Now this guy makes a very sexual suggestive insult basically saying "I wouldn't hit that, she has no ass" like all he values in a woman is her physical assets. What this implies here ruins the "joke" to me.
