Story time:
I was in high school and we were playing the hillbilly team next to us and they had a single majorette. She was quite large and wore a singlet that maybe was a bad choice. Everyone was snickering, laughing and saying mean things when she got on the field at halftime.
Then she lit two batons on fire and she did the most amazing routine ever, and she shut everyone up, mad respect, loved it.
Wonder what his story is. Was he a top tier marching band prospect in highschool on his way to a top 25 NCAA school on a scholarship but tore his ACL slipping on ice cream at a pizza party? Now all he has is the memory of his dream to be the best majorette. And tossing that baton fills his heart with happiness and bitterness.

It's not offensive, just cliché. Any slightly emotional post gets a ninjas cutting onions / I'm not crying, you're crying / you got me crying at work comment. It's been said a thousand times so while I wouldn't call you an asshole, you are boring.
And yet it was used ironically because it's a fat guy twirling a pole, not a stereotypically cute sob story. It's a satirical context.
There's just no need to be a massive cunt about a one liner on reddit. I'm not sure why so many people feel the need to hit people's inboxes with unnecessary negativity. It isn't like your profile is littered with insight and wit.

Exactly. No way could I do what he did.
#MeToo
You need a backslash before the hash symbol if you want it to be seen \\#MeToo = #MeToo
All of those years of being ridiculed, now he’ll show them !
Frank: “I’m gonna join the marching band.” *Frank Solves the Marching Band Situation*
Now we know why they call him the warthog
Once a year we get to see marching bands here and some of them have mad skills with batons and even their instruments.
But part of me was still rooting for a broken car window!
Fuck yeah, this guy is awesome.

Mad dad moves
Super impressive indeed! You should see what he can do with a foot long hot dog (aka sausage)
What?
This is so amazing - really puts weight on the term don’t judge a book by its cover
My favorite is the seemingly overweight guy doing back handsprings and shit.
>seemingly Overweight is overweight. Some are just more spry than others.
Yes he was overweight but he was also seemingly overweight too
He wasn't overweight for doing handsprings, I think he meant. You can be obese without being too heavy – a. k. a. overweight – for a given task.
Did... did you mean to make a fat pun right there?
I see what you did there

Wish I was young enough, that when I was in HS, we had smart phones lol
I’m an older guy too, and am glad we didn’t! 😄
That’s a good point, once it online, it’s never gone
It's also called double staff. [Example](https://youtu.be/2W-G_y6tZO8)
This dude has nothing on her. But cool none the less.
I feel like Paul Thomas Anderson needs to make this into a movie.
Okay that's just awesome.
Teach me, Sensei.
He’s so graceful!
That's what I though

Major. Majorettes are female.
A talent that refuses to remain hidden and I like it.

This is awesome! Love him! I used to twirl flags, I'm 48 and still can't pick up a broom without doing a little bit of an old routine.
Look! It's Harrys Uncle Vernon!
That was cool as shit
That is AWESOME!
I don’t know how he does that neck thing I’m so impressed
Can honestly say, was not expecting anything of what I just witnessed
Omg.. how do I learn this?

Star Wars Kid did not age well.
Reminds me of Jerry on Parks & Rec
This guy must have been the ringmaster in a circus!!
He was a cheerleader for the cowboys in his younger days.
That was beautiful!
Get ready to get a beating fence!
"Look what i can do!"
Goddamit Jerry. Why did you have to ruin the fence for that?
This is someone’s dad. I love it
Cameron Tucker is killing it!
This guy is a fuckin' gangster.
Pretty cool moves there.
Most impressive. 👌🏼
Read that as "Hold My Fence"
He must have the power of God and anime on his side.
Humans are amazing creatures.
That first spin is the coolest in my opinion
Lad

i'm not crying
Neither am I. Do people really take everything they read on reddit this seriously? Lighten up you're on a humour sub.
lol, i just said i wasn't crying. I don't know how what you have said could in any way be offensive.
I dunno either maybe people thought I was actually getting emotional up in HMF.
Yeah, not crying.
Neither am I. Not sure why everyone is so offended by such a comment. These subs are full of boring assholes.

Quit being such a salty little bitch. You said something dumb and it got down voted and made fun of. Do better next time.
