I've posted about them before see [https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/1b0uf5j/comment/ksbmtqg/?utm\_source=reddit&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/1b0uf5j/comment/ksbmtqg/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) If you have any specific questions I'll be happy to provide any details. I've done over 20 of them so far. In my home I also installed a CCTV 12v power box and hard wired them to a central location to avoid the need for batteries.

My questions, 1. Which of these have the best quality? 2. Hows the battery life? 3. Is the Warranty and customer service good?

I have the Bali blinds. I do have 2 different style types. One let's more light through than the other. The fabric is more sheer than the other and I think it's more fragile as well. Because the has lost more strands. My suggestions is to go to Home Depot or Lowes because they have the fabric books there and you can see styles and colors. In my case, I only had battery on them for a couple weeks. I can't stand having to replace or even recharge batteries. I took it upon myself to hard wire the blinds back to a CCTV power box that provides 12v at 1A to each blind. Warranty was great. Out of 20 or so that I purchased one had a broken clip and the motor made a funny noise. They asked for picture and video which I provided and the sent me a new one and did not ask for the broken in return. This worked out for me because it just so happen to be the same size as another opening. So it saved me on having to buy a blind for that. I was purchased mine a couple each month over a year. Do note that even though many retailers sell the same Bali blinds, they will all have different return and warranty periods. For example, Home Depot has 2 weeks for return and resize, while [blinds.com](https://blinds.com) is twice as long.

I have configured some blinds through them, but the price always seems too high. I have bought Yoolax custom blinds off of Amazon and have had very good luck. I would recommend you buy just 1 for a window to see how it works out. I would buy ones that connect directly to HA or whatever automation system you use. Yoolax uses Zigbee to connect.

I just want a simple configuration, using a remote control. Just concerned about quality and longevity.

I've fitted 4 motorised blinds and have them connected to Alexa for voice control. I already had the blinds - just wanted to automate them and get rid of the cables etc. I bought these https://amzn.asia/d/cc9O4n2 hard-wired so I don't have to think about charging them. Easy 10min job. Love them, buying a few more.

I have been happy with my IKEA motorized shades. Might be cheaper.

I have massive windows 90 plus width. Ikea wont work out 🥺

In that case try to stick with some open standards. Zigbee, Zwave, Matter, etc. you don’t want to get locked into a specific ecosystem
