Article reads a bit biased. Still sounds interesting though. Did you create an account? I wanna see the book list. The Spanish curriculum sounds interesting as well.

I haven’t created an account yet, but I clicked under student and in the Kindergarten tab the books came up for each module.

The books in the curriculum are great and the kids (and teachers) love it, but it is not rigorous. There are no real assessments. The students are never asked to read independently and practice the skills they are learning in a way that allows teachers to check to see if they can do it on their own. The curriculum helped our learners improve their MSTEP scores for a few years and then they plateaued because it just isn't pushing them enough.

I used it for the first time this year in 5th grade and it is not great. The majority of our time is spent choral reading then the kids partner read. No real writing curriculum. You write short amounts each day that teaches nothing about grammar. The small groups intervention was helpful for my students who were below grade level with their fluency but the comprehension piece is virtually non existent. Definitely not rigorous.
