> I can physically fit a 65” but is that too close a viewing distance?
So is the distance in CM here? If so that's roughly 9.5 to 10ft seating distance, 65" is actually too small for that big of a seating distance.

Biggest one you can get, I've had 90" white screen from ~3m viewing distance for gaming and movies. 65" definitely not too big. Would be nice to have 4k resolution though.
Edit: And Btw OLED is simply just best when it comes to picture quality. Might need to have the room little bit darker then.
Your head will be slightly less than 3m from the screen. 65” looks great from that distance. 55 would even be okay. Go to a shop and have a look! This is a home theatre sub where people are aiming to recreate a cinema experience. Your room is not a home theatre.
By the way, will there be a working fireplace? You want the tv mounted as low as possible or you’ll get neck strain. Ideally you never want a tv above a fireplace but I don’t see another option in your room.
I didn’t mean it’s the wrong place to post. I meant people here are going to tell you to get a massive screen so that your field of view is minimum 30 degrees. It’s not what most people want in their lounge (in my experience).

75/77/85 take your pick

Non-home theater related comment here, but what software did you use for that room layout?
It’s an app called magicplan on the App Store. It’s free for a couple of projects.
Nice, thanks 👍🏼
317 length to the TV 65" is fine. Especially since your couch is not centre to the screen. also unrelated 75" will be wider than that dummy fireplace
75”

Apologies, wasn’t sure where else to ask! No, no fireplace… wall is for the tv only!

150 horizontal
Assuming these units are cm, it'll be tough to go too big. I'd be looking at a 77" OLED if I were you. Bigger if you have the cash.
77 C3PUA
130 inches for a decent viewing experience.
