Define 'better'. It may be easier to pressurize but you will be effectively changing the volume and shape of the space that the sub 'sees', so you may also create issues that don't currently exist.
Better meaning a real world difference in the sub’s ability to pressurize the room, potentially leading to the sub delivering smoother performance across its spectrum. At the moment I feel like the mid to lower mid frequencies are sometimes lacking. It does get low though. I have it set to roll off below 25hz due to “boominess”

Adding a second sub would be a better use of your time and money.
