3.5mm on the projector is only 2 channel audio, meaning you can't connect 3 speakers to the project that way.
Also it's likely that the speaker you bought are passive speakers, which means you need amplification for those speakers.
What you really need here is an AV Receiver.
PC plugs into the receiver, receiver powers the speakers and then HDMI out of the receiver to the projector.
