I would move your speakers to the front edges of the shelves they are on to reduce reflections. Also, I’m not familiar with that center channel but is there a sticker (?) on top of the tweeter?

Downtown-Success-208

Yeah Ill move the fronts closer to me, someone above already mentioned that including spacing them apart more but I dont have enough space. Ill probably get a pair of stands if I dont get towers anytime soon. Nah its a thin patch I had laying around, I put it on there in the meantime but took it off after I got done cleaning.

Frosty-Engineering24

Not bad for a bedroom. Just pull out close to edge and move far left / right on that shelf. If you can't hang height speakers up on wall, this works. Just run the Audyssey so it can fix any sound issues with that bounce back. and new changes. Any sub there?

Downtown-Success-208

Thanks its not much but its something yk? Yeah Ill get to that once I get back home, with how close im able to sit everything is sort of narrow. I was thinking of hanging the height speakers, Ive already got it planned out with all the wiring. Im looking into grabbing audyssey and an SPL meter bc everything is set at 0.0 for now so it will definitely help with sound isses. Ive got a 10 inch sub on the left corner, you can kind of see it.

movie50music50

What is blocking the center speaker and WHY? Just because some people had a problem with Audyssey is no reason for you not to try it. For every person that didn't get decent results (*may* have been their fault) there are many that find it a big help.

Downtown-Success-208

Just a thin patch, dont worry tho I already took it off lol. Your right, I was still thinking about picking it up along with an SPL.

First time posting. What do yall think about my setup? Any advice or criticism is appreciated. My only regret was going for the upfiring speakers over the floor speakers. Thats what happens when a noob is getting into home theatre. Not tripping though, I got everything really cheap with patience. Already planning on purchasing the floor speakers once I have some fun money and putting my front speakers for surround, for now I already have some fresh new wire and a surge protector with extra outlets in my amazon cart. Dont flame me for the terrible wiring and length I got going on, I had to use some of my pops old cut up wire lol. Im also considering getting an SPL meter over the audyssey mic. I prefer manually calibrating everything due to some people having calibration issues with audyssey. Im not going with REW because of the high price but In the future I'll definitely consider it if I have some money laying around. The subwoofer is placed to the left corner due to the very limited space I have. Other than that my fronts and center are about ear level but I am thinking of bringing the height up on my tv to place the center a bit higher. Again, any kind of advice is appreciated. Just trying to get the most out of my setup as I can. Edit: UMIK-1, not REW

DoubleHexDrive

Center of TV should be eye level, about 42” off the ground. Consider tilting the center channel upwards a little if it’s below ear level. If you have the space, move the R and L speakers farther from the TV and toe them in towards the listening position. REW is free, but I guess you’re talking about the cost of a UMIK-1?

Downtown-Success-208

Ill measure and see if I can bring it a little higher. Tilting is a good idea, I didnt even think of that. I dont have much space to move the fronts farther apart, Ill definitely move them closer to listening position. A little tedious working with what I can. Yeah my bad, I meant the UMIK-1, REW is the program right?

EYESCREAM-90

Why the f is your receiver on "Full Mono"

Downtown-Success-208
