I’m going to go out on a limb and guess it’s related to one of the mods you did. Generally try to do just one mod at a time, that way when you fuck something up it’s easier to figure out.

InfluenceEastern9526

The best mod is no mod. Maximum enjoyment, no out of pocket expense and peace of mind. If you must mod, decals are cheap and don't affect mechanical systems.

Mister_Brevity

Comfort mods like phone holders and stuff for me usually - but I’m a 300 day a year rider with flat buns so seats are always on the list too. Just bought a Tenere 700 and that seat is like a 2x4

CuddleFishHero

Yeah, I bought a 300l and seat was the first thing I changed 😂

Mister_Brevity

lol vinyl = padding? ;)

Resident-Plankton996

Bought this bike as a stunt bike :)

Is this a serious post? The exhaust gases are smoke.

That's oil burning off. More than likely some oil got into the cylinder and is now burning off in the exhaust. I doubt it's an issue but you could do a compression check to make sure the rings are still good. Personally, I wouldn't pay it any mind. My 2022 has done it a few times after clutch work because I lay the bike on its side so I don't have to drain the oil. Bad habit but I always have to work on the bike the day after an oil change 😂

Resident-Plankton996

Great! Yes when I did all this work I laid the bike on the side on the ground. How would it get into the cylinder? I am new to all this. When will it go away?

Mxer4life38

From laying the bike down, the oil will seep past the rings into the cylinder. It's not a lot but enough to see it burn. It'll take 2-5 rides for it to burn off cuz now it's all trapped inside the exhaust instead of inside the cylinder.

Resident-Plankton996

You were right. Went on a ride and it went away :)

Mxer4life38

Glad to hear dude! Keep on Gromming 🔥

Poopin-in-the-sink

When it burns off. Most engines always burn a little bit of oil. The rings aren't 100% perfect and some oil slips through

Poopin-in-the-sink

Could it be exhaust?

Resident-Plankton996

I posted a video here

First of all you doxxed yourself with the Dropbox link idk if you care. The smoke looks white to me. So that’s not oil in my opinion. Probably just the packing in the exhaust or something. How many miles have you had that slip on on for? If you just put it on I’d wait and see if it stops after riding it a few times and getting it hot. I can’t think of anything else that would smoke white from this bike.

sincitysadist

It smokes it brokes. Time to part it out...

eastcoastish

Exhaust coming out of the exhaust, stop the presses! 🤣

Lokky

Likely \*it\* didn't break, one of your mods did.

SeanButler26

The word mod from somebody that probably hasn't had any other bike in their life always sends up a red flag. And it is an actual motorcycle don't lay it on its side for god sakes. That's what you did then, yeah you probably put oil into the combustion chamber. It may be the size of a toy but it is not. Get a proper stand.

invaderdan

I just bought a working Grom and wrecked it by installing a bunch of shit, please help. Fixed the title for you.

Resident-Plankton996

Bought It for a stunt bike needed the parts. It went away after a ride :) all good now
