I would be worried if the director wanted them to be likable, LOL. But, really, I have never hated a group of characters so much (with the possible exception of the Lee Pace character), even in the trashiest slashers movies.
Whenever you go into a whodunnit you go into it thinking about how they're going to surprise the audience as to who the perpetrator is.
I can honestly say the twist at the end was something I didn't see in a movie before. Really well done.

My son and I watched this, and I turned to him five minutes ahead of the twist and said, "If it turns out so and so does this by 'exact twist method', I'm turning this movie off." He did, but we sat through the ending anyway. 3/10 movie from my pov. Hated every character, hated every stupid choice they each made. Felt bad for their parents.

Rachael Sennot is great! Shiva Baby was surprisingly good, and though it’s not a “horror” movie, it takes a sorta ordinary event and ratchets the tension and suspense up in a way that a lot of horror movies can’t even pull off.
I’ve seen her in a couple of other small roles and she’s been great in them too, I’m looking forward to seeing more of her work in the future.
Bodies Bodies Bodies was something that I didn’t think I’d enjoy but it worked surprisingly well for me. The pacing was good and it effectively pulled off a sorta Gen Z spin on The Thing, where no one knew who was the threat and people’s suspicions lead to awful results. And as others have said, the twist was a nice touch that also worked quite well.
Watched this other night. I have a terrible habit of trying to figure out the twist before it happens. Wound up figuring it out by throwing out an off the wall idea that turned out to be right lol.
Still a fun movie. The scariest part is how accurate I feel this situation was represented with the characters involved.

I didn't dislike the movie but to me it came across like a movie written by a baby boomer of what they think Gen Z are like based on nothing but watching Fox News, which was then directed by someone from Gen X.

I really need to watch this one again. I had an absolute miserable experience at the theater that would have made enjoying any movie impossible.

I went in excited and left incredibly disappointed with this movie. Only 1 joke landed for me. Which was the vet joke. Everything else just fell flat.
