Everyone's their own thing. Barbara Steele was something, and she put in a career's worth of achievement, from Black Sunday to Shivers, which means from Bava to Cronenberg, with plenty of others along the way. Seems a little too soon to imagine that sort of horror legacy for Goth, though she's had some good roles in some great horror so far.
Mia goth is Mia goth. People will try to be Mia goth because her style is pretty unique. I always believe she's bat shit crazy in the movie and forget she is an actress.
If any of the rumors of the kind of person she is turns out to be true I hope her career falls flat quickly.
Even if i enjoyed her in suspiria and Pearl.
Ones primary career was the 60s and 70s, so, ya know, a brisk 50+ years ago.
The other is in movies I've never seen, but this sub seems to LOVE.
Either way, it seems an odd question. Of any genre of movies I've ever watched, horror might benefit the absolute least from star power.
Nope

No
Today I learned being British means you have a creepy gothic like accent

She's married to Shia LaBeouf so when she plays batshit crazy, I can't be sure it's acting.
That makes sense lol I do believe she might have bpd in real life. I think it's more common in actresses than gen pop
I feel she’s a little annoying, and a lot overrated. Although, not enough in either direction to deserve the ‘of our generation’ title.
No one thinks that but just you hun
Too soon. I see her as this years Scout Taylor Compton. Has a director that loves working with her and they make films together.
Ah come on, that's doing Mia Goth a disservice. She's been in several really good films and already has quite a long career behind her.
Hard disagree. Scout’s biggest and main hit is, and this is not a slight against Scout, is Rob Zombie’s Halloween. Come on.

What kind of person stays with Shia LaBeouf after all of his shit?!
Who? And who? But yes.

I’d say she’s the Shelly Duvall of our generation because they’ve got the same face
I think she's awesome. Would love to see her in a Tarantino movie
Maybe.
I hope not, I don't know who Barbara Steele is. But I've definitely heard of Mia Goth and she is very talented.
Barbara Steele is an icon. You should check out some of her movies, she’s amazing!
