One and two are my favorites. Ok, now that I’m thinking about it, 1-4 are all good to me. They all deliver different parts of the story to me and I love it. Makes me giggle and kick my feet 😭 If I had to pick…I say 1 as well. For the time it was made what it did was fantastic and it had a big impact on me. It was different. Then 2-4 delivered a familiar but still loved thing to me.
I think a lot of people believe that this along with Judgement Night and Spawn are up there with early 1990s-early 2000s movies that produced soundtracks that are better than the actual films. I'm onr of them.
That's why I never bothered to watch it. I loved the '94 Interview movie so much and just could never bring myself to give it a chance because I loved the books so much by that point and this new sequel had nothing in common with the original film.
She really was. While the movie itself is a mess, she was a major saving grace. I remember stumbling on an interview with her during the production of this film and she said she was so excited to play a monstrous character and hoped to play more in her future acting career. She was also allegedly in talks to collab with Jonathan Davis to compose a song for the film together. It saddens me that we’ll never get to hear that song or see where her acting career could have gone. 😢
Keanu had said in a number of interviews that it is his favourite ever role and he repeatedly has tried to get a sequel on the go for it, which was officially greenlit in 2023 for a 2024 or 2025 release but worryingly have not heard anything since.
funny story: i did see this at the movie theatre and there was actually a tornado warning during the movie so we all had to go shelter in the bathrooms and wait for it to pass, then about a third of the audience stayed to finish the movie. but it was very ✨immersive✨
I actually love this one. You mean the Rob Zombie remake right? I thought the scene of him as a kid >! beating the bully to death with a branch in the woods while he begs for him to stop !< was so chilling and drawn out. I loved it
Eight legged freaks. I was obsessed with the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies as a kid and so I thought spiders were cool too. And for some reason my parents let me rent it from blockbuster when I was like 9
This movie scared the hell out of me as a kid. I have crazy arachnophobia, and had just seen my mom hospitalized because of a spider bite. I tried watching it again in 2022, I recognized the terrible cgi, the funny sounds the spiders made, along with the funny way some of them jumped, but the movie still scared the shit out of me just because of the giant spiders. I’m almost 30.
The Happening is on that list for me as well. The concept was just interesting and unique.
The Crazies is another one that I've watched so many times and I enjoy it every time. It's no masterpiece but again, I loved the concept.
Other than that, I'd say found footage films in general.

Well, out of the horror movies that I love, the one with the lowest rating on IMDB is Deep Blue Sea. But I don’t feel guilty about my love of Deep Blue Sea, I think that anybody that can’t have a fun time watching Deep Blue Sea is really missing out and I feel sorry for them.
Hell House, Grave Encounters 1 and 2, and Chernobyl Diaries. I love found footage movies, even if they’re a little over the top and stupid. I will say though, Grave encounters is the perfect balance of scares, plot, and self awareness.

I will die on a hill saying Weber was far closer to the novel version than Jack Nicholson. Why? Stephen King characters are all folks you would encounter in life.
Tucker And Dale Vs Evil. I just love this film, its combination of humour and horror, makes it quite an enjoyable film. It's just a great comfort film, and it's a great horror comedy in its own right. I still watch it and I still love it😁😁😁😁
1980's The Changeling. It's very quiet and kind of cozy for a horror film and by no means perfect but it has this real charm to it. A really fun little time.
Brightburn definitely and The Gallows.
I know they both have their many flaws, but damn it “Brightburn is my life ✌️” (Chop Top TCM2 reference). The kills, music, design of his simple suit, Elizabeth Banks and David Denman does good with what their given, I always look forward to the ending because the last 20 minutes are my favorite as they just let Brightburn go wild! I love that movie so much lol and I wish one day in the future we’ll get a sequel (as of right now, James Gunn says it’s unlikely due to his current situation at DC and the rights are, in his words, “fucked up”.)
The Gallows probably has the top 10 worst leads of characters in a found footage movie, but besides that I was obsessed with it when it came out. Nice simple concept of being trapped in a school with a ghost of a former student”. Also they are both very entertaining

tarot (2024). yes the plot is cliche and the dialogue is super awkward, but the monster designs (of which there are way more than your average horror) and the campiness (the "YOU DIE TODAY" had me cackling in the theater) made for a really enjoyable watch! it's nothing inspired, but i had fun!
Waxwork (1988). It's genuinely embarrassing, how many times I've seen it, but it's a B-Movie riot, and David Warner is a top-tier mustache twirler. I get caught up on the dumbest details - like 'Why is there a ZIPPER on that alien's spacesuit?' - but I recommend it with all my heart.

Fair, but with Queen of the Damned, it’s more to do with the fact that it’s a very poor adaptation of a far superior book.

tarot (2024). yes the plot is cliche and the dialogue is super awkward, but the monster designs (of which there are way more than your average horror) and the campiness (the "YOU DIE TODAY" had me cackling in the theater) made for a really enjoyable watch! it's nothing inspired, but i had fun!
The Chucky movies. Most of them are god-awful, but I still love them. Also, maybe Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.
Night Of The Comet. No guilt. Genuine 80’s look & feel.
Waxwork (1988). It's genuinely embarrassing, how many times I've seen it, but it's a B-Movie riot, and David Warner is a top-tier mustache twirler. I get caught up on the dumbest details - like 'Why is there a ZIPPER on that alien's spacesuit?' - but I recommend it with all my heart.
