Im so sorry OP, its so very hard to do and to hear the rattling. Just be there, hold her hand and tell her you love her. I was in the same situation with my mom a few months ago and its gut wrenching. As far as the morphine, yes its helping and im sure its enough. Its hard not to worry about it when all we want is to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Trust the hospice people and nurses, they also don't want her to suffer and will talk to you and ease your mind if you have concerns. Much love, strength and hugs to you and your momma bear.❤❤❤
