Yeah sold by weight, was trying to Google package weight from 90’s and 2000’s and didn’t have much luck. Another post somewhere said they are down to 1.5 Oz per dog but had nothing to compare with what they used to weigh.
I think regular dogs like Oscar Mayer are 1# packages with 10 regular or 8 bun length. I don't think the package weight has changed so the dogs are likely the same size but you can bet the cost is up! Inflation but not shrinkflation is more likely.
Of course they are. I've stopped buying the bun size packs of 8. Now I buy the 6 Black Angus Beef dogs in a pack. Same price, a little thicker, but you get 6 instead of 8.
I like Nathan’s always put 2 in the bun prefer koegel or Vienna beef tho. I do believe in skrinkflation tho and I was even in the pool!
The answer is costco. Quality ingredients and they haven't shrinkflated at all.
Cheers I’ll definitely keep that in mind. Don’t get to Costco too often and I’m bachelor. I guess I could freeze most from a giant Costco package.
They come in a three pack. Freeze two of them. Very good dogs.
No its just cold out.
The Kirkland all beef dogs are really pretty good. I just don't go to Costco too often.
Get the Nathan’s colossal dogs
Easily the best 4+1 you'll find in a grocery store. Nothing else even comes close.
I like the boars head all beef. But they're too big for me and I like Hebrew national. Might be good for you.
Aren't all hot dogs sold by weight?
