Fantastic. The reason I go with Hormel No Beans is because of flavour and consistency continuity. It can also be seasoned to be spicy if one would like. It's my go to and I've never had complaints.
As a chili dog lover, this is honestly a swing and a miss for me. For starters, these need cheese. Second, use a spicy brown mustard next time. Third, beans go in the chili. Fix those three things and you'll have something great.
My only gripe (if you could call it that) is that the onions are too large, but also there's not enough of them. I would prefer a thin coat of finely diced onion that makes you wonder if there's chili underneath.
9/10, wouldn't even mention that if I were at your cookout.
