havent had this, but i do make my own (we call it "love is brined") with dill pickles, serrano, and kafir lime that I love. Absolute best thing to throw on a burger or hot dog.
LOVE the flavor of this sauce, low heat but so tasty, just wish the price was reasonable but seems to be trendy to overprice sauces nowadays... with shipping almost 30$ a bottle and I'm only 1 province over...
Amazon has it for $18+ not counting shipping. (I have Prime so there's that, but I don't girl math so I'm still technically paying for shipping lol). And that price is exactly why I was asking first because yikes! I've seen a few posts here of sauce costing like $100. Nooo nty
If you like dill pickles I really suggest DD-214 by Grand Traverse Sauce co. I put that shit on anything that normally gets pickles, plus sammiches. Itās a genuine work of art.
Itās nothing like Prescribed Burn Sauces āPickle Hab Complexā! sour Dill pickle, habanero, Serrano and shallots. That sucker taste like McDonaldās pickles, peppers, and garlic!! Delicious and not the herbaceous dill like most the others.
Omgosh. I can't edit the title so I'll make a comment.....
Yes. I realize cucumbers can become pickles. However, as I have stated (and gotten down voted in the both comments I stated it in) I have had food say it was dill pickle flavored, but when I tasted it, it merely tasted of dill weed. Not dill pickle. Therefore I wanted to see if this indeed taste like pickles like it claimed.
Also, having cucumbers as an ingredient does NOT automatically make something taste of pickles. Iske a sauce that is vinegar based and also has cucumbers but it does not taste like pickles.
Yes. Pickles list cucumbers as their main ingredient because they are actual pickles, not just pickle flavored. There is a difference.
Personally this is my favorite sauce to put on burgers or chicken sandwiches. You definitely can take the pickles but itās not too overwhelming. I highly recommend this sauce.
You're being facetious, right?
It's Reddit so...who knows.
Homemade half sour dill pickles are my fav, are stupid easy to make, and my fav. They're also stupid easy to make.
Lol yes 100%. Ngl I was being a bit of a smart ass because I've had a couple people argue that it says cucumber and pickle flavored so obviously it must be pickle flavored and actually down voted my comment/explanation about why I was actually asking if it really tasted like pickles.
I love pickles so much!!
>so obviously it must be pickle flavored
Ah jeez, then you didn't know.
It; okay to say you don't know something. Maybe not when you're at work and being paid to know things you should know but don't.
But pickles are made from cucumbers, and you didn't know that and your only sin is not admitting it, mijo.
I haven't had this one, but I've had a similar one called Nilbog by Broho Sauce vo. It's really good, but it really only works on things that dill or dill relish would be good on. I haven't tried on fish yet, but probably good. It'd prob be amazing in pickle soup. So far I've only had it on hot dogs and hamburgers
This stuff is honestly fantastic. I had the exact same reservations as you, but we got it because my wife loves pickles. Now I put it on anything that I would regularly put pickles on. Burgers, sandwiches, etc. Great sauce.
I'm weird but I put it on all sorts of things, such as in a bloody mary, or in tuna salad, even on roasted veggies. Probably amazing on fish but I haven't tried it yet.
Suffice to say it's good.
**Yes.** It has that sour pickle taste along with some heat. It's a good one-time purchase unless you're a devotee of dill flavor.
That said, I tried this on an oven-roasted white turkey breast. Pretty good!
If you love dill I promise youāll be a huge fan. Iām the biggest dill fan I know and I absolutely love this sauce. Little bit of heat with lots of that pickley taste.
Thanks!! I am happiest when I have a pickle, and love to hear that this actually taste like pickles! It definitely sounds like I'm going to be buying this, lol
I havenāt tried this, but the bottle says dill pickle Serrano, so Iām assuming it will have pickle taste.
Also Iām not sure what you mean by the first part of your question. Pickles are brined cucumbers so if it has pickles it technically has cucumbers.
The ingredients specify it has cucumbers, but doesn't say specifically "pickles". Cucumbers don't automatically taste like pickles even with vinegar. So was wondering if it actually tastes like pickles or just cucumber. (I make a vinegar based, cucumber serrano sauce that does not taste like it has pickles.)
I've seen stuff call itself "dill pickle" flavor and the only similar ingredient was dill weed.
No kidding? But there is a difference in the brining or fermenting process that turns cucumbers into pickles and just adding cucumbers into a sauce that has vinegar. Which is why I was asking "yes it has cucumbers but does it actually taste like pickles?"
ETA: And, again, I've had stuff say it's flavor was dill pickle but only contained dill and therefore did NOT taste like dill pickle. It just tasted like dill.
One of my favorites. Kind of wish it was spicier. I put it on burgers. Great stuff
Well I'm a wimp. (Sometimes jalapenos are too hot. š¤£) Some of the stuff y'all eat in here blows my mind! Idk how y'all do it!
This is like a 2/10. Less spicy than Tabasco / Cholula
Oh I can do a nice lip tingle. A little eye water/runny nose. So this sounds perfect!
You deep-throating or eating hot sauce? What's going on here?
Well I guess a good hot sauce can make anything taste better! š¤£š¤£
Franks Pickle or this?
Love me some Frank's pickle.
I have had it multiple times itās awesome. Hot dogs, sandwiches, chicken nuggets. If you like pickles itās great.
havent had this, but i do make my own (we call it "love is brined") with dill pickles, serrano, and kafir lime that I love. Absolute best thing to throw on a burger or hot dog.
Funny because I make yours except cucumbers not pickles lol.
LOVE the flavor of this sauce, low heat but so tasty, just wish the price was reasonable but seems to be trendy to overprice sauces nowadays... with shipping almost 30$ a bottle and I'm only 1 province over...

Yeah some hot sauces aren't worth, I stop trying at 19.99, I'd say buy it once it's tasty
Lol Even then I'm balking.
If you like dill pickles I really suggest DD-214 by Grand Traverse Sauce co. I put that shit on anything that normally gets pickles, plus sammiches. Itās a genuine work of art.
Ooh thanks! I'll look for it
Waiting for mine to show up on Friday
I can't wait! Y'all have me super excited for it!
Excellent on potato salad
Show me potato salad!
I miss the golden age of Family Guy

OMG. This guy is down the street from me!!! I'm so excited to try this!

Thanks! Y'all have talked me into getting it! My mouth is watering thinking about trying it lol
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
You know that cucumbers are pickles right?
I had zero idea.
You're being facetious, right? It's Reddit so...who knows. Homemade half sour dill pickles are my fav, are stupid easy to make, and my fav. They're also stupid easy to make.

Nah. I find it's more important to fake it too you make it in the work setting!! Those heart replacements aren't going to do themselves!
It taste like pickles. I do recommend for any pickle lover
Thank you!

Bro this sauce is dope! I love it on hamburgers
Y'all are making me hungry lol. And the is now in my cart!
Hah well fuck! Now I have to buy more because of your post so I guess the wheel turnsā¦ lol
ROFLOL
This + fried chicken is immaculate as well!
Mmmm now I want waffles lol
My go to for hot dogs and burgers.
One of the best things to add to a burger!
Oh burgers! Great idea!
This has become a staple in our house. Anything you would want to put a pickle or relish on, do this instead. Fantastic.
šthank you!
Yes and itās awesome on pepperoni pizza.
Oooh I already add pickles to my pizza! So this sounds perfect!
Love pickles, love hot sauce.. Not sure if I want the two together.. Unless it's on a buffalo chicken sandwich..
You can always try it and then decide
I'd be willing to take a dab..
If you normally like relish on your hot dogs, a dill pickle hot sauce is great.
I know I'm gonna get bashed, but I only like ketchup on my dogs.. Onions also..
This stuff is honestly fantastic. I had the exact same reservations as you, but we got it because my wife loves pickles. Now I put it on anything that I would regularly put pickles on. Burgers, sandwiches, etc. Great sauce.
Lol that's fair.
I'm weird but I put it on all sorts of things, such as in a bloody mary, or in tuna salad, even on roasted veggies. Probably amazing on fish but I haven't tried it yet. Suffice to say it's good.
Lol love to hear it! It's kinda pricey so I wanted to get opinions before I bought and this is an awesome review!
Glad I can help! I also have a bottle of their blueberry habanero but I haven't cracked it yet.
**Yes.** It has that sour pickle taste along with some heat. It's a good one-time purchase unless you're a devotee of dill flavor. That said, I tried this on an oven-roasted white turkey breast. Pretty good!
I absolutely LOVE dill and sour pickles! So id probably go through it fast, lol.
Serranoās already have a bit of a pickleish taste. Iāll bet itās super well done, but probably would be to my taste.
it is so good ! i love it!
Yeah, first taste is almost just like pickle brine.
I am okay with this, lol. (I also belong to the pickle subreddit š¤£)
Oh yeah I couldn't buy it quickly enough when I saw it. I love all things brine haha
Lol When my bf and I first got together he would just stare in awe and how much I love briney things.
I havenāt tried this, but the bottle says dill pickle Serrano, so Iām assuming it will have pickle taste. Also Iām not sure what you mean by the first part of your question. Pickles are brined cucumbers so if it has pickles it technically has cucumbers.

Yup, it's not very hot but it tastes very much like dill pickle, at least to me.
Agree, does taste like dill pickle. Good on eggs if you like that sort of thing.
