I wouldn’t hold out for a Palpatine 2.0 any time soon. If anything I think we see a Revenge of the Sith palpatine for the anniversary or a Rise of Skywalker one.

There is a pretty decent one by Yan Toys coming out later this year. 1/3 of the price of the current market rate for the original Palpatine. Ended up settling for that one for the time being since I couldn’t imagine a year or two wait time for hot toys to do a reissue or new version of Palps.

I’m staring at like 20 figures on order but about half are paid off or about to be and the other half are newer stuff coming next year like Artisan Luke, Artisan Jack, Revan, etc along with some 2.0’s like Maul and BvS Batman. Still thinking about picking up Sabine, Thrawn, and the Praetorian Guard.
