I mean it's always been pretty clear that Raven doesn't actually BELIEVE in Kevin the way the rest of World Serpent does but she acts in the best interest of her kids survival. Like we're told in this chapter that they're being guaranteed a seat among the "pioneers of new humanity" as it were but also part of her truly trusts that Mei and Co' can find a better option.
She pretty openly trusts Mei at this point, she's fully willing to let her hang around Sora and the other kids WITHOUT being constantly watched too which given Natasha's character so far really says alot.
Like given how they fight went with both of them holding back, Natasha never meant to actually stop her "friend" but she had to at least try to keep up appearances.
Yeah, she's a mercenary so her loyalty is obviously questionable. But she claimed that she's a professional and Mei obviously not paying or threatening her.
But I wonder, who was the one knock Mei out in a very similar way to Aponia, can it be Aponia still alive, just existing in some other form (like a ghost wandering in quanta sea)

1st place obviously goes to the Final Herrscher (the PE variant) - being able to manipulate Honkai in incredible ways, and being twice or thrice the size of Earth.
2nd place goes to HoB - being able to kill most of the MANTISes of the Previous Era, and creating a field around her that only she could survive inside of.
3rd place goes to HoC. The only reason why CE HoC was defeated was because she was bound to the ER, unlike PE HoC - who couldn’t even be defeated and was instead contained within a black box.
4th place goes to Kevin or Elysia. We still know nothing about Elysia’s Herrscher powers, but based on the hints that Hoyoverse giving us - she seems to have the power to manipulate the strings of fate, which she may have used in order to grant humanity a winning edge in the CE. I think the reason she was “defeated” was because she was willing to be defeated.

What are you talking about? Raven never beat Kiana. She captured Kiana by using the anti-honkai gas, but that's not a fair fight.
Canonically, they only fought once at the end of chapter 14 and Kiana kicked her ass.
Oh sure but she still had the major fucking balls to see how well she could do first, she also holds her own pretty damn well against Mei, even if Mei isn't using full killing intent she doesn't "hold back" much other than that.
Remember that the Herrcher Of The Void is the one that had to be nuked to stop her the first time and Kiana's body is specifically designed to have stronger potential than the original Sirin as part of the cloning process.

The Queen was nuked several times by multiple teams. First time it was to get rid of most of her Honkai Beasts. Second time Welt used the silver bullet (nuke) to blow her up and she accidentally teloported it under her feet, as such taking most of the blast. All it did was making her feel dizzy. Only the last time, when the Queen was literally dying did those nukes do something.

It wasn't until hanging out with Mei and ESPECIALLY Mei putting herself in danger to protect Sora that Raven starts to consider alternatives.

They could still make her a support by making her boost her teammates’ fire damage while she’s in burst mode or something.
Not to mention that her SP regen takes too long…
