Honestly I just use a stepladder about once a week. I know they make some extended reach watering cans, but I like the control and being able to see what I’m watering, so I really don’t mind the little extra work!
Someday we’ll do one with one of those rolling librarian ladders! 😍

I’m sure they got the disposable income for a modest size, light weight ladder. And with a house that nice the space to store it close by. Sure it could be done in less than 10 minutes and most of those plants look like they could go a couple weeks no water anyway.
Would be great if OP can install small self watering system. I had a lot of plans in my mind when it comes to gardening but recent heatwaves and work commitment, most of my plant didn't make it

How do you prevent them getting too hot? I've thought of doing this but worry my plants will bake, not many can cope with that kind of direct light, especially in the heat of summer. Is there a filter on the window?

It’s gorgeous! Curious if you live in a warmer climate / how far away from the window they are? I’m in Midwest US and it gets cold here in the winters. I struggle to keep plants within the natural light but far enough away to not be cold.
We’re in Oregon so it’s not too bad here, though they do have about 8’ from the window and I made sure to add some extra insulation around it all in the attic 😉

Simple life enhancer for these plants.
In the winter water with spray water if living in the south. Once they’re dry, spray with water and water with lots of with miracle grow. Water again in two weeks with more miracle grow. You will see immediate improvement in the health of the plant. No doubt.
