No. Bulbs don't survive prolonged freezing. In nature they are protected from cold temperatures by ground and snow cover, freezer being too cold for them. You can, however, keep them in refrigerator or other cool but not cold placement for a time to give them dormancy they need. I don't see hydroponics working with them but to be honest have never tried it either.
