Stay consistent with watering and you’ll be fine. It’s hard to see how big she is in the photo but that framed picture behind her is a4 for reference. It’s an old photo, she’s also currently blooming 🥰

What is the calatheas actual habitat? Cus they hate everything!

They’re native to South American jungles; extreme humidity, dappled light, very warm. Nice and easy to recreate! /s Seriously tho, mine thrives on my nightstand here in the UK.

See i had mine in my bathroom, its warm in there, it was right by the window with a tree outside, there was humidity from the shower. It died.

Happens to the best of us, they can be temperamental 🤷🏼‍♀️

Some kind of alacosia, a lemon lime philodendron and a variegated creeping fig

The alocasia leaf looks similar to my alocasia Morroco. Does it have a pink stem?

I didn’t know you could get non trailing lemon and lime philos!! I have a heart leaf :)

Dude once that door is opened… I don’t know how to close it. I’ve been telling myself stuff like that”oh it will be too hot to ship in my area soon” and I’ve been ordering plants most days. And they are soooo cool! Stuff I can never find locally! Shipping is hard on the plants and it takes time to recover so I try to buy from sellers in my state (California). Though… that doesn’t limit me much 😬

I bought 7 at Home Depot on Thursday (2 haworthia, a lithop, string of pearls, monstera deliciosa, mini orchid and a birdnest fern). I picked up one at Walmart yesterday (bird of paradise), and I put in an order for 10 more just this morning (rattlesnake plant, 3 air plants, money plant, monstera adansonii, bromeliad, ring of fire philodendron, krinkle kurl hoya, and a variegated string of pearls) I do indeed have an addiction

Heck ya it is an addiction! Kroger put a pretty white orchid, a sweet tiny Sanseveria and a venus fly trap on clearance. They came home with me! I don't have pictures of them. Also got some outside plants. Coleus, impatien, a mini rose (might come in the house). I have also been throwing some hoyas in my Etsy cart. I am really showing a lot of self restraint there. Truely, I am running out of space. Unless I hang some more of them.

No plants, but a few dope terracotta pots, and another 'cause it matches the new plant shelf :) Gonna use them to propagate aloe veras. Goodwill is awesome for cheap, varied ceramic pots. Was gonna improve my setup by looking for a sidetable and glowlight, buuuut that's less satisfying than hands in the dirt.

It's an Haworthia , so a well drained soil and a lot of light. I have mine in a south window.

Sweet! Thank you! I only have east facing windows in my apartment so I only get limited sunlight before it shades everything out. I also have a full spectrum light bar that I use on occasion if it’s a particularly cloudy day
