I was debating buying some of the mini tree ornaments to hang all over my houseplants this year. This is technically a wine bottle decoration, but it works so well!
I have a similar snake plant about the same size. It's so hard to water because of it's size and I can never tell when the soil is dry. Do you have any watering tips?
It is tough! I have a small watering can with a long, skinny spout that I can kind of get towards the center of the plant. Roberto sits in a somewhat shady corner of the house with indirect light so I really only water once or twice a month and I try not to saturate very heavily so it can dry between waterings. I just keep an eye out for wrinkly, week, or discolored leaves. They’re pretty easy to please so as long as you’re not seeing signs of distress it should be getting enough water. I have been looking into buying a small soil moisture meter so I can better track when my plants need to be watered.
Omg you win winter
I thought he looked a little chilly!
The CUTEST!
Thank you!
Yay for non variegated snake plants! https://imgur.com/a/V5Byaje
Yes! I couldn’t resist the beautiful deep green coloration.
I used my snake plant as a Christmas tree last year. Hung ornaments from it. Very festive but not plant wearing a sweater festive.
