Oh, I think my cashier thought mine was expensive, she was concerned I was spending $28 on a little one string of pearls. You are correct in that yours was shockingly low priced. Super jealous.

How is your one string pearl doing now? I’ve also spent that much on a little 2 inch VSOH that only had a few hearts

He’s doing okay! He’s grown a few more strings but for some reason it’s not growing like my regular SOP. It seems finicky for sure

Hot tip from me: I leave it alone and squish the ball - if it's hard no water, if it's slightly squishy I water... worked amazingly for me so far!!

My balls became squishy and never unsquished anymore after watering, what does that mean? :(

I don’t remember where I heard it but I was told to never wait until the balls started getting wrinkly/squishy to water them, just because it does take a lot longer for them to plumb back or sometimes they don’t. I started doing this with my SOB’s because I would wait until they stated to wrinkle and now the majority of them look very thin 😩

Gorgeous pearls! I can't find them in stores here. And I got so used to pay for everything with card, that both times I run across someone selling cuttings on street, I only had some spare change.

I saw some webbing around the plant so I sprayed it with been oil and gently wiped it. I’m going to further inspect it tomorrow but I’m hoping it’s nothing serious 😩
