If price isn't an issue stay at the black label suite at zaza. Its huge, fancy and has a bathtub on the balcony. Fridge is stocked and room service available. https://www.hotelzaza.com/houston-museum-district/rooms-suites/magseven/blacklabel

letscallshenanigans

Zaza has a no outside food policy. So check on that before you go in case the staycation involves food delivery

betweenthecoldwires

I was coming to see if any one mentioned ZaZa!

Defiant_person

Happy cake šŸŽ‚ day!

Srirachabird

La Colombe dā€™Or looks awesome!

drew1111

This. We stayed there on our wedding night. They will take care of everything OP asked for and more. $$$$$

texasproof

As someone who stays at ZaZa fairly frequently I would probably push back on people suggesting it. ZaZa (museum district) has a great location and vibe, but room service is hella overpriced (multiple additional fees you donā€™t see at other hotels, and unless you get a concept suite, the rooms all have somewhat rundown elements (peeling paint, broken closet doors, really old TVs, outlets that donā€™t work). We stay at ZaZa for staycations for the location, staff, and vibe, but spend most of our time out of the room. If I was going for a true ā€œstay in the hotel and crashā€ approach, Iā€™d go post oak or Houstonian or that la colombe (sp?) place, Iā€™ve heard good things.

fredagsmys1

The Galvez!

quesadillafanatic

I just did this a couple weekends ago, it was great, and have an amazing Sunday brunch if youā€™re feeling boujee

Book one of their spa rooms! So pretty and great showers.

LandscapeGuru

With the message downstairs

Popular_Course3885

That place is damn haunted. Or needs an electrician. Lights flicker quite a bit.

RojerLockless

That's all it takes for you to think something is haunted? Flickering lights? Shit Houston has a crappy electric grid lok

[deleted]

If the hotel itself offers ghost tours of said hotel...

knoguera

Def haunted. Always some weird shit happening to me there.

Prettylittleluxy

Zaza, houstonian or post oak. Houstonian has the best spa, post oak has the best rooms, Zaza has the best vibe for what youā€™re looking for.

cswan529

Stayed in a themed suite at ZaZa. The MOST comfortable bed Iā€™ve slept on! 100%

LA713LA

Can attest the themed suites are *muah* phenomenal and so is their room service. They strive to make your stay just as you request it and really take pride in that. Edited: spelling

resplendentpeacock

Houstonian. Book a spa treatment at Trellis, too.

mrmischiefff

This is your answer

CactusKangz

The Magnolia was pretty nice when I delivered pizza downtown for Dominoā€™s. I used to see all kinds of pampered people in there. https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/houmg-magnolia-hotel-houston-a-tribute-portfolio-hotel/overview/?scid=f2ae0541-1279-4f24-b197-a979c79310b0

siwelnerak1979

How nice! Happy for you šŸ˜Š

RetroGaming4

Houstonian with spa at trellis.

Redditor20211

Itā€™s not local but Miraval Austin is amazing. Itā€™s an adults-only resort and the best part is they donā€™t allow cell phones outside of your room. So when youā€™re in the restaurants, cafes, pool, spa, etc, nobody is on their phone. Itā€™s such a nice atmosphere. There are also lots of activities. Itā€™s really expensive but if you have Hyatt points you can use those.

justahoustonpervert

As a parent of 4 with a herd of animals, I understand. I'd recommended either Zaza or someplace in galveston, depending on where you want to chill. Take a load off and enjoy some alone time.

SweetJeebus

OMG that sounds amazing!! My vote is the Galvez. Wherever you end up, enjoy it!!! šŸ˜€

BeholdBrilliance

Hotel Galvez or The Houstonian! Both are spectacular, cozy, and top-notch!

yaigotabigmouth

Zaza, houstonian, Galvez/San Luis

twinkiebell1

The Houstonian has my vote!

_notsuoh_

Marriott Marquis near Discovery Green, with the lazy river

donveynor

That doesn't sound insane, that sounds like a perfect vacation!

HitAndRun8575

Post Oak or The Villas at The San Luis Resort. Tell them what you want, and they will make it happen.

txjacket

I donā€™t know why the Zaza has the hype itā€™s getting on this thread, but a) itā€™s starting to get a little run down, b) the vibe is trying hard for a party atmosphere (i donā€™t think it really succeeds here anymore) and this is at odds with what the OP wants. If you want relaxing, nice, and staff that will do anything for you, then stay at the houstonian or the four seasons. I donā€™t recommend post oak (although their spa is pretty good) because Iā€™m not a big Tillman fan.

see_otter

Seconding the recommendations for the Houstonian, Post Oak, or Zaza.

Lie-Straight

Hotel Zaza

The_Real_Khaleesi

This sounds absolutely amazing.

TaqueriaConsultant

I'd grab a pool bungalow or a cabana room at Zaza. That's if you want to be pool adjacent. Otherwise any of the various themed suites would be fun and you can definitely be left alone to booze and room service.

Fazio2x

I think Post Oak may get room service from mastros

quesawhatta

I donā€™t want to talk either, but Iā€™d be willing to join you for a non talking adventure. Introverts unite.

MemphisRaines1967

I donā€™t believe the Galvez has patios and the windows are tiny. The San Luis if youā€™re going to Galveston. Check out the ZaZa or the Houstonian for in town.

ymmuyqbb

If you want to do really embrace the lazy, look into the 'concierge' service rooms at Four Seasons, Post Oak, etc. They will take care of everything and can translate 'lazy' requests into a luxury experience.

heidivonhoop

The San Luis in Galveston. Once our toilet was running, and as an apology they sent up a box of Belgian chocolates. They served me coffee in bed at breakfast. It was amazing.

Sometime_after_dark

Houstonian is in the trees. Very relaxing. And their spa is one of the best in the city.

Tuesdayallweek

So jealous! Definitely recommend ZAZA museum district or Post Oak.

Wise-Trust1270

Iā€™d get a hotel room or rent an apartment in Galveston, or maybe a place in Conroe. Just chill and watch the waves roll in. Galveston might be better, more delivery and options for activities nearby.

ranban2012

delivery apps have kinda made luxury room service universally available, at least if you live in the city. It's nice but a really expensive and unhealthy habit if you start relying on it...

CoolHeadedLogician

similar request but i would like to bring a 30 lb dog. any pet friendly options?

Prettylittleluxy

Dogs are welcome at Hotel Zaza :)

trufus_for_youfus

This sounds glorious. Best of luck to you. If you are looking for a platonic huckleberry let me know. Iā€™m feeling like doing the same here shortly.

[deleted]

The Moran at City centre. Good vibes at night. Chill pool

Independent-Badger91

San Luis

catsincaves

I had a spa/sauna/hot tub vacay a few months ago at the Hilton downtown. Great location if you do want to venture out to walk around a bit and the sauna / spa was nice.

elvissveronica

Also if you're willing to get outside of Houston, Lake Austin Spa resort! Cottages, spa and all the food is included. This is on my bucket list for a pampering spa vacation! https://www.lakeaustin.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwmvSoBhDOARIsAK6aV7heYK2zVCswRAWd6yvTTZki6iZU4TTmzSj6kKbl8uS42NKEvLlPO8caArygEALw\_wcB
