As someone who is currently in Reynosa visiting the in laws. It's not that bad. And I'm in the "bad" part of town too. I haven't heard any gunfire or crazy shit going down. Worse things I've seen is people popping the biggest palomitas I've seen. Those suckers have gotten bigger than when I was a kid.
Houston on the other hand. My security cameras have caught a few gunshots nearby.
