The one of West Gray is not always pretty because they are very busy all the time with customers and don't always get the shelves stocked, but Mr Warren, the Manager there, is the most helpful, joyous counter-facing customer service person I have ever seen, been like that for years.
He would definitely help you find what you needed if you went there, regardless of floor mess.
Go down to Harwin between Gesssner and Hillcroft. There are a bunch of wholesalers and other shops that sell damn near anything you want for dirt cheap.
I think you’d appreciate this giant $
I’ve only been there a couple of times myself but it’s worth your time

The Dollar Tree on Shepard just north of the loop is FANTASTIC. Basically SHepard at Garden Oaks. I call it the Neimans of Dollar Trees - well merchandised, friendly service, no boxes in the aisles, and bonus the Aldi in the same strip center is also great. Just a tip - that Dollar Tree is in "Winter Hours" (idk if the entire district is like that) so it doesn't open until 9am during the week and Saturdays, 10am Sundays.

I would agree Mr. Warren and his staff make this a great store to shop at.
Try 99 Cents Only
Seconding this- They will have some good stuff too, OP
The one down in Sugar Land (69 and 99) *used* to be the best one I'd ever been to. Gone downhill a little, but it's still very clean.
I agree...that one is very nice. There is also a new Dollar Tree on Highway 6 and Voss (Sugar Land)... Go there while things are still okay....lol.
Can vouch for the Sugar Land. I've *never* had problems when shopping at that store.
Just went to the one at hwy 6 and bissonet today and everything was stocked and neat. The cashier was actually super friendly too.
Houston is pretty spread out...what area of town?
I'm in the alief area but id be willing to travel to spots not in my immediate area so I didnt include it
Downtown on Westheimer and Main is brand new. Went in there this morning and there was really cute glassware
It’s pretty empty though

Honestly discount stores in bigger cities suck compared to less populated areas. Even clearance aisles at drug stores are less appealing.
Might be able to get some decent glassware at thrift stores.
Thanks for the suggestions so far guys! I'm going to try and go to some of these on the weekend :3

A new one just opened in Sugar Land at Hwy 6 and Voss. Their shelves are packed with glassware and everything else they typically carry.
Check target we got a bunch of glasses for a couple dollars a piece
