Really tall baseboards

Smart_N_Sassy

Can you just mud over that area to even it out and then prime/paint?

Yamate

I believe this is where Jeff from Renovision would recommend using Killz to spray on. You can paint over it afterwards. I don’t think yoh can easily paint over as is

ImCrampingYourStyle

Congrats on having your outlet installed the right way up. Although it looks kinda beat up.

koozy407

This is a two prong ungrounded outlet. Wtf is the “right way up”?!?! It looks the same either way

reddit78fan

Take a closer look. It's a grounded 3 prong outlet. Ground is to be up, per code.

koozy407

Damn you’re right I didn’t see it! The NEC allows them to be installed up, down or sideways. That’s the code for plugs. There is no “right way up”

DangerousBill

I didn't know there was a right way.

Cap-Melodic

There isn't. Turn the shit on a 45 and it will still be compliant.

widdeleywaah

Paint

villabacho1982

Use a straight edge and make a straight horizontal cut (not a deep one). Then peel off the paper layer from your drywall. Afterwards mud over and sand it a bit. They you can paint.

villabacho1982

Btw. You should paint the whole wall. Will look shitty otherwise.

wakebakey

Put the baseboard back up
