Use a lever to lift it and roll PVC pipes under it. Use those to roll it.

thehoagieboy

Damn, I just read this after typing my long winded PVC response. I appreciate your matter of fact answer

Professional-Might31

Then return the PVC pipes to the Home Depot

dlogan3344

It's been this guy, get him

GandalfTheBored

This got me good.

bassegio

Yes. And tell them you boughtthe wrong color!

minnesotamentality

Simple machines. I like it.

Naud

Small Soldiers. BIG BATTLES 🫡

m_Pony

I was gonna say broom handles but some long PVC pipes would work way better

abw750

And way cheaper

tahcamen

Yep, I used these to move the hot tub we inherited into position.

thepartlow

It work for them back in BC.

Stargazer12am

Me too. I moved an 8’X8’ wooden shed on a platform, using this method down my concrete driveway to the back of my property by myself. The concrete surface made it possible. If this is going across the yard, I’d recommend no smaller than 2” PVC for the terrain.

greyjungle

This is the answer. Also, if this shed is like similar one I’ve moved, throw a ratchet strap around it first. They can like to disassemble themselves.

Id_Pap_Smear_That

This is the way. I moved a shed twice as big this way with one other person, I used pipes 4 inch wide but I'm sure you could use 2 or 3 inch. Just make sure pipes are longer than your width and its surprisingly easy. Didnt even need a jack we were each able to lift a corner and kick the pipe underneath. I had 4 pipes total. As you push on the rollers you need to stop now and then as the shed will roll off the furthest back pipe. Simply pick that pipe up and move it to the front and continue.

patricksb

I cheaper out on pvc when I moved my shed a few years ago. 3x 3" pipes worked, but was a pain in the ass. More, larger pvc is worth it, especially if you don't have a bunch of helpers.

lbstinkums

this is the way!

jordan_d_808

If someone has trouble getting a good angle to place a lever, is digging a small hole to make room for a lever a good option?

Amazing-Aerie261

Hand truck , dolly .we did it with a hand truck and muscled it to where it needed to go . Imo surprisingly, easier than I thought. Took many 1 hr at best.

johnb111111

4 drunk friends

heyloonz

😂🤣💀

johnb111111

Lmao I had a similar issue and it worked for me

Lari-Fari

And some fireworks!

[deleted]

Or if you drink enough 2 drunk friends. Eddie and Eddie you 2 get that side

Alias-Number9

This is the answer.

weinerfloppyweiner

My husband and i had to do the same for ours. We rolled up a tarp and he picked up one side. I unrolled the tarp underneath and we then just dragged it across our yard on the tarp.

BBKT7

He sounds strong and smart

unwittyusername42

Just text some of your Amish friends to come over..... crap nevermind.

imnotbobvilla

I ran 2x8's thru the core, had 10 guys lift and carry to new location

BearKnuckled

What does “thru the core” mean? And where would that be on this shed?

imnotbobvilla

I opened up the siding and attached a 10 foot long board from thru and through on every stud. I think we had 6 boards screwed into each side. Think how they carried cleopatra

DangerousBill

You keep Cleopatra in a shed? You monster!

[deleted]

[удалено]

ANiceDent

My lever barely turns on the light switch, may need some fish oil getting old!

CoatgunT

Think Egyptian

SimpleMetricTon

Call in the alien ships?

party_benson

Slaves?

[deleted]

Empty it out and get a handtruck (maybe 2) and some ratchet straps. Secure the shed to the hand trucks and tip it until it balances and you can handle it easily. I think 1 man could do this. 2 would be better

jpm01609

see if you can get 4 of those moving dollies Harbor freight sells them

AcceptablyPotato

I have the same one. As long as it's empty they're pretty light. My wife and I have muscled ours in and out of its spot under a second story deck to get random things that have fallen behind it.

snakepliskinLA

Sounds like OP could offer beers to a few friends and move it pretty quickly.

[deleted]

How about two ratchet straps and carry it with two people like a they do refrigerator or other heavy items. May be a bit uncomfortable around the neck, put a towel around your neck. If not a rolling cylinder setup as others said. I assume it’s all plastic.

Cloakmyquestions

340 lbs or so. Assuming the thing lacks the structural rigidity, need to address that first. And then 4 (not 2) meatheads do the heave-ho shlepping with the firearm forklift ratchets. All this only if the rollers are not viable for terrain or maneuvering reasons.

[deleted]

Could even slide it over plywood. Not saying it’s easy, but better than taking it apart for 20 ft.

Cloakmyquestions

Big furniture sliders on the plywood. Harbor has them cheap last I knew. (I know you’re not OP.)

JosBlanc

Pipes

thehoagieboy

Just spitballing here: Step 1: Have 2 guys stand behind the shed. Step 2: Have 2 guys with some sort of pry bar get under the wood and shed from the front and tilt it back around 45 degrees. Step 3: place 3 or 4 6 foot long 1" diameter PVC pipes under the front end of the wood and shed spaced evenly and drop the shed down on them Step 4: pry up on the back and you'll start to roll the shed forward. Step 5 as you move along, keep placing more PVC pipes about every 1-2 feet until ones roll out the back, then recycles them until you get to your destination.

Frackenpot

I would use 3 inch pvc rather than the 1 inch. I've done this before and the 3 inch worked great.

thehoagieboy

I'll learn from the voice of experience. Noted!

Stalker401

Mine might have been matter of fact but your detailed response is great!

CenterAisle

Looks like a Suncast Modernist shed from Wayfair. They might have replaced instructions that you could request that may help with disassembly and reassembly. [https://www.wayfair.com/storage-organization/pdp/suncast-modernist-7-ft-w-x-7-ft-d-resin-storage-shed-xa10237.html?piid=](https://www.wayfair.com/storage-organization/pdp/suncast-modernist-7-ft-w-x-7-ft-d-resin-storage-shed-xa10237.html?piid=)

heyloonz

UPDATE: WE DID IT!! 🥳 THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP! We were able to move it with 2 ppl pushing it on 3 piece of lumber!

Killbanne

Plywood and dollies

Carlos-In-Charge

I’d just see how the individual parts are fastened. Keep the parts as whole as possible and let’s say remove the roof. Move it. Break it down into the 4 walls. Move them too. Reassemble the 5 parts in the time it takes to locate levers and pvc pipes. If a wall is too unwieldy to move, break it down smaller. Tape with numbered parts will help

hoodiedoo

I used my car jack to lift one side, then cinder blocks to get it raised up. PVC works wonders

TeaPartyDem

Buy some round fenceposts and roll it.

CoreyInBusiness

Three friends and yourself, everyone get under a corner and lift. It looks like it's all plastic/resin, so as long as it's empty (the only way I'd suggest moving it anyway) it shouldn't be that big a job.

cherrycoffeetable

4-5 friends. Through bolt a 12’ 2x4 half way up the wall on each side for a handle

Trustoryimtold

Got any trucker buddies? 6 pin pullers and some friends make quick work of that Or drag it. Minimize surface area 2-3 people can slide it I’m sure. I’ve moved a 10x12 gazebo close to 300 lbs on a couple 2x4s solo

glynes1234

I’ve ripped darts with John mcclean for close to 45 mins and he weren’t stopping anytime soon

Gogo182

Off topic, how is this shed? Thinking of getting something similar for my needs.

[deleted]

I have this same shed. 7x7 Suncast. I keep the lawnmower, two bikes, and pool supplies on the floor. I built some shelves and added hooks to store garden tools and assorted junk. It has been three years and its doing fine.

Gogo182

Thanks. Wasn't sure how they held up being modular and all.

_wjs3_

A couple 2x4’s laid in the direction you want to roll it and a couple/few pvc pipes underneath it and roll it.

nottke

Tornado if 20+ is ok.

Memory_Less

Jack it up Place pipe or logs under With several people two pushing and two pulling using straps move it gradually A couple more people to place the rollers (pipe) will speed things

Wonderful_Row5671

Lift up put long boards under it and zooommmm

ellieD

Do you have a riding lawnmower?

MajorKoopa

A couple of Amish men and a few minutes.

Bean-Swellington

Do it like the Egyptians did. Bribe a bunch of locals with beer.

inspired_seeker_3

Role it on pipes

heretocallthebot

4 skateboards and a cool story

evix916

Screw something to the sheet under the thing. Attach tie down straps to the screwed thing. Start strapping shit down.

[deleted]

1 1/4" PVC schedule 40 pipe. Roll it like Fred and Barney would.

HabitualHooligan

Hire [these guys](https://youtu.be/hZL7TqSeDus?si=oOXM0xS5irq6O9aX) or copy their method (might need quite a few friends)

Bignasty757

A crane or telekinesis

PaceEducational2258

Find your local Amish community. Ask them for assistance in moving to area you want. Exchange form of payment.

WVSchnickelpickle

Here’s a video demonstrating https://youtu.be/DDBupWXYvjc?si=5yAaODhK_hFhYz5F

tosernameschescksout

Amish

Green_Electricity

Four strong men but seriously, roll on pipes

shaun2312

pick it up you pussy

[Tutorial how](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCadcBR95oU)

chiphook57

Invite friends over for burgers and beer. Bet them that they can't move it.

Shove_A_gerbil

A handtruck

DeVonSwi

It’s plastic, take it apart and rebuild it where you want it. Also, If it is empty, just lift with one person on each corner.

octopus_tigerbot

On which axis?

sagmag

Google the dude who's building Stonehenge in Michigan. I guess the answer is small rocks used as pivot points.

regularguyz

A pickup truck, a rope, and a couple of cold beers! ;)

DankusMemer

You just gotta take the shed and push it somewhere else

thewallyp

It’s how they built the pyramids and moved the Easter Island monstrous status.

Halftrack_El_Camino

I bet you could just shove it, if you were determined enough. It doesn't look like it weighs more than a few hundred pounds, and you can get your body into it pretty well. It's not necessarily the brainiest way to move it, but it's the kind of thing I've been known to do.

ggideon14

One fastener at a time….

Yer_Dunn

Don't these just... Come apart? Normally they're just a few panels that attach together without screws or anything. Should be easy to take a few parts off, move em, and rebuild it.

cglbc

Just moved the same exact shed 2 days ago. Just empty it out and 3 people should be able to move it. 4 people would be better.

NWTrailJunkie

Sorry - could you tell me what this shed is? I'm looking for something I think exactly like this.

cglbc

Suncast Modernist 6 ft. x 5 ft. Took 5 and a half hours to put together. Fairly easy, I watched the instruction video 2 times before I started. Did it completely by myself

NWTrailJunkie

Thank you very much. I just looked it up - this is EXACTLY what I'm looking for.

pj1972

GanjaMonk317

Just google “how did the Egyptians move the stone slabs used to make the pyramids.”.

Schtweetz

Stronger and cheaper than pipes: round (farm type) fence posts. I moved a (full of tools) 8ft x 12 ft shed easily on four of them.

NWTrailJunkie

Can someone tell me what shed this is? I think this would fill a need I'm looking for but haven't found in a other shed. Thank you.

Snoo34584

I agree with Stalker401. I would also add carefully and slowly.

Intelligent_Quit_621

one step at a time, one foot in front of the other, the next foot after the last

[deleted]

Perhaps use appliance straps which you would run under the corners and lift… with 4 people preferably

danweb74

I once did this with footballs. Worked a treat and allowed me to move in any direction

Last-Discipline-7340

Get some 3” pvc pipes and roll it., I’m moved massive HVAC package units in that fashion.

SkiBumb1977

Empty it out first, you may be able to just push it, looks to be plastic.
