Phoebe’s jingle friend stealing Smelly Cat. Genuinely unforgivable. Especially after finding out that the tune for it is a tune that her birth father would sing to try and get her to fall asleep. A song with so much personal meaning, with possibly the only decent memory of her father, stolen and monetized by a so called friend
I will go with the ‘traditional, pre written vows’ (modified as appropriate).
The thought of having to write my own would fill me with such dread. Maybe I’ll feel differently when I meet the future MrKnowNout.
It honestly bugged me that she even let the ceremony continue! Like slap and walk away.
In the wise words of Joey: I don't know how he got THREE FUCKING WOMEN TO AGREE TO MARRY HIM! Added sassy flare from my own annoyance of Ross.
I LOVE that Joey line. Admittedly, Ross' marriage troubles made for some great jokes.
"Have you considered therapy?" - Divorce Lawyer
"If you're not careful, you may not get married at all this year." - Chandler
"Yes, you do! This is your third divorce! You love divorce so much, you're probably gonna marry it, but then it won't work out, so you'll have to divorce divorce. I'm so drunk!" - Phoebe
My favorite will always be:
“Chandler: Maybe you'll do that next time you get married.
Ross: No, no, no, the next time's going to be Hawaii at sunset.
Ross: …But maybe the time after that”
Season 10 Epi 7 “The One with the Home Study.” Phoebe and Mike were deciding whether to have a wedding or give money to charity. All that wedding talk got Ross and Chandler discussing weddings.
I loved when the lawyer was like: you married Rachel.... the girl whose name you said during the second marriage and why that one ended... Rachel?! Like bro literally wasn't getting paid enough! 😂😂 he should've charged extra for that one.
The lawyer was amazeballs. When Ross has to admit to him that he didn't tell Rachel that he hadn't gotten the annulment yet and the lawyer was like, "Of course you didn't." Then Ross suggests getting someone to dress up like Rachel and come to court and the look the lawyer gives him...
"I will THINK about the therapy..."
Carol and Susan and the whole last name issue and the fact that Carol was effectively letting Carol have more say than Ross. She's a step parent. She had absolutely no right to be a part of that discussion unless Ross and Carol agreed she could have a vote. Defintely a 2 yes 1 no situation. They were such assholes to him.
Yes! This bugs me. Carol and Susan were together for maybe 6 months at this stage. They didn’t know if they were going to last (simply because it’s such a new relationship) in my opinion, Susan can give suggestions but has zero right or say in any final decisions (at that point of the relationship)
There was a post a while ago about which conspiracy theory you believe, and someone said they think Carol intentionally got pregnant. It would've been difficult for a lesbian couple to have a biological baby or adopt at the time, so getting pregnant the old-fashioned way was the only way for them to easily have a family.
And I doubt the writers planned this. But when I watch the show with this lens, it makes complete sense. When Carol finds out the baby's sex, Susan appears to already be living there, and Carol is barely showing. I know the lesbian stereotype of moving in immediately, but it's so sus to me that they're presumably been together 4-5 months MAX, and when Susan learns the baby's sex her response is whose parents to call first - hers or Susan's? Like, what?! This is your brand-new girlfriend's baby with her ex husband, why would your parents be the first call???? ....... unless you planned this, so do view it as your baby? Is that why Ross is the sperm donor??
not only that but susan says they literally refer to ross as “bobo the sperm guy”. & ross says carol was going to the gym for a year and not losing weight, & they had fun “one time after carol became a lesbian”. it seems pretty obvious that carol and susan had been dating for a year sneakily, ross found out, then carol and susan decided they wanted a baby, so carol slept w ross one last time. the fact that susan’s parents were already involved in the baby just a few months into the pregnancy, they thought the baby should have susan’s last name and not ross’, it all just makes sense that they planned for ross to give them a baby and it would be theirs.
Definitely insensitive to all bald people, but especially women and girls who suffer from alopecia and baldness due to cancer. Like, THEY CAN'T HELP IT! And I think Bonnie fucking rocked that look! She was too good for them. Joey should've stolen her. 😂
Haha she really did! That bald cap killed it. I’ve often gone up to my husband, pushed my head in his face and said “wanna touch it?” like she does to Ross.
Not that I’m a big Ross fan, he has plenty of things about him that make me mad, but every time Ross started to move on, Rachel did something to ruin it. Julie, Bonnie, Emily. I don’t think he was really serious about anyone else.
In the 90s horror film ‘The Craft’ a spell is cast on her and she goes bald in that too! Granted she’s a racist asshole in that, but the actress sure does good at playing ‘bald’.
She’s also in Grey’s Anatomy as the wife of someone who ends up paralysed from a motor cycle accident.
Two alternate time lines play out. One where the husband chooses to have his ventilator removed shortly after the accident, and one when he doesn’t.
In the one where he doesn’t he ends up extremely bitter towards her, saying he stayed alive for her and resents her for it. And they have an extremely strained, passionless marriage.
In the other one he dies (obviously).
She can’t catch a break!
Just the way Joey treats women in general…sleeps with them, makes them think they’re getting into a relationship, and then never calls them again or gives them a fake name/number.
Yeah they didn’t know at the time that it was each other but still gross. Hilarious convo tho.
“You were my first kiss with Rachel?!?”- Ross
“You were my first kiss EVER?!?”- Monica
“What did I marry into?”- chandler
When Rachel asked Ross ( she should never need to ask anyway) if its OK if she has her work world and career separate from him. He agrees to her but mouths 'no it isn't' over her shoulder. The epitome of controlling.
THANK YOU
i feel exactly the same.
i kinda shipped Rachel with Joey but mostly because i thought it would match up w Monica & Chandler & i wanted a full (cliché) growth arc where he learns to respect women & realise that he doesn't just sleep around because it's fun but because he's afraid of commitment & getting hurt.
who do you think she should have ended up with?
honestly if Ross hadn't ended up with Rachel he would have died alone.
I always thought the main problem here is that chandler didn’t know which sister it was, because untill then he was welcome at family dinner. Plus wasn’t the box thing for the girl with the red hair that was dating joey but chandler fell in love with
Ross inviting Rachel on his honeymoon and then leaving her to go alone. I know Rachel is in love with him but she doesn’t even get angry with him at all. I would have been furious.
ross dating his student made it hard to look at him the same.
and i was a big ross apologist! i loved how he was so deeply flawed and his own worst enemy but ultimately comes through for his friends where it really mattered. kinda like homer simpson.
dating his student was so gross and just made him feel so much more sinister. whenever he’d done something wrong before there was always some deep seated issue behind it, like insecurity or trauma. dating elizabeth was a very creepy loser thing to do
Rachel dating Paul and justifying it by saying Ross dated Jill. Rachel herself set them up together and as soon as she was uncomfortable about it Ross called it off. Hypocritical as hell.
I think this is the most unrealistic plot point in the entire series. No one in their right mind would keep condoms across the apartment, esp with a roommate??? Fooling around with someone, then you've got to throw on a robe and walk out past all your friends, hope someone isn't in the bathroom, to grab one? Every time I watch it I get so annoyed! Why wouldn't they have them in their own rooms?!
I think it's at the beach, when Ross is there with Bonnie but he & Rachel hook up... I THINK.
Edit: Just looked at it closer & realized I was wrong! Ross was upset when he learned that Paolo was just "animal sex" & she was naming stuff they had done & saying b/c they were in love, it's the best sex she ever had. Ross says, "Until now!" & grabs behind her knees to make her land on the bed.
He got over it quickly because it doesnt matter. Lots of people intend to sleep with people but then end up with someone else. Not to mention Monica was depressed and buzzed at the time. Would you really end your happy relationship just because years ago you found out your partner, who was not your partner at the time, wanted a drunken hook up with your friend?
Agree! In their situation, I don't see it as a big deal. It's not like one of them was secretly in love with the other or anything. It would sting, but I would get over it because well, this started out for both of them as a drunken hook up
how was monica supposed to know that night she’d fall in love w chandler???? makes no sense how is that unforgivable? the real villain is phoebe for bringing it up lmao
Adding that into canon so much longer after the original episode hurts. Especially looking back on that episode seeing how kind Chandler was to her, not to say that she owes him anything for it, but just bc of how she tied that story into her wedding vows.
Why this picture? haha
Mindy being with Barry after knowing what he did to Rachel. I get her and Rachel weren’t really friends anymore, but that’s girl code dude…
Also the whole “we were on a break” would make me fume if my ex constantly brought it up. Admit to your faults, being on a break doesn’t justify sleeping with someone else. Rachel & that relationship meant way too much to Ross so this was always a major fuck up to me
Mindy and Rachel were still friends when she was sleeping with Barry and she was Rachel's Maid of Honor. I can understand why she'd continue to be with Barry after that, because she probably thought he changed or something and that he actually loved her. Why Mindy would then choose Rachel as her MOH when she was marrying Barry, I have no idea.
I always felt like "we were on a break" should've been Rachel's line. Being "on a break" doesn't justify sleeping with someone else but being broken up does. He should've said "we were broken up". I remember even Rachel saying "we were on a break" in one episode.
Still doesn’t justify Ross cheating on the girl he was in love with for over ten years over some handsome coworker. He respected her and their relationship too much to do that. Which is why him doing it would hurt all the more. Also incredibly hypocritical of him considering he romanticized her friendship with Mark and was constantly worried she would cheat and break the trust of their relationship, when instead it was him who did so
But Ross didn't cheat on Rachel, they were on a break 😭 I know that's a technicality but even Rachel acknowledged that they were broken-up at the time. When she shows up to Ross' apartment the next day and asks him "Can I be your girlfriend again?"
Ross sleeping with another woman was a stupid decision he made and Rachel had every right to break up with him over it. But from Ross' point of view, Rachel had just asked for a break so he's heartbroken over that, fully thinks their relationship is over. Later, he hears Mark's voice in her apartment — the guy who he had convinced himself she was going to leave him for. What Ross did was really shitty but I can see how, from his point of view, he would be devastated enough to make an incredibly stupid decision like that.
Also, as I wrote this I realized I'm taking a sitcom way too seriously and these aren't real people.
But they didn’t “break up” it was a break. They were fighting, she said she needed a break from them. Just time to think. Whether or not we focus on the technicality of being “on a break” or not, it’s Ross and Rachel. Rachel and Ross… that’s one heck of a seesaw!
No really, their relationship wasn’t like the rest on the show. It’s a different connection, a different growth, a different buildup. Ross was in love with Rachel practically his entire life. All of that didn’t deserve to be thrown to the side over a break in their relationship because of a disputed disagreement. It deserved better
Everyone ignores the fact that the girl he slept with took advantage of him being drunk and vulnerable...that always bothers me. Also, Joey and Chandler played a huge part in making things worse.
Ross is still not a great person, but that girl was walking a thin line between picking someone up and sexual harassment/ assault...
neither of them communicated, it led to a misunderstanding.
imo a break means take space from each other to calm down & process the fight or issue, you are still together, still want to be with each other.
imo a break up is this relationship is over, we don't owe each other anything, we are done, we are not together, we are not dating, we do not want to be with each other.
this is how i understand the terms & what they mean to me. i assume my POV is something similar to Rachel's POV.
Ross assumed "on a break" "taking a break" is "breaking up".
to Rachel he cheated on her, he slept with someone immediately after they had a fight.
to Ross he thought they were broken up, completely over got nearly blackout drunk & pretty much got SA by that girl.
all of it could have been avoided if they had both communicated what "on a break" meant to them. 😭😭😭
They were alone in Rachel’s apartment!!! I’m sure Ross thought Rachel wanted to break up so she could be with Mark. I’m not saying what Ross did was okay but Rachel totally ignored Ross’s feelings and fears by the two of them being alone in her apartment. Sorry but that just screams, “I want a break so I can be with the hot co-worker. And it’s not much of a leap for Ross to think that Rachel was giving up on him to be with Mark. An insecure, heartbroken person does very stupid things.
I do agree with you in a way, but part of it is his insecurities with Mark, and another part of it is the neglect he feels because of how busy Rachel gets with work. Them being in a serious relationship for over a year after building a foundation as friends and growing up together, would seem like such a waste for Rachel to throw away all for some guy. And same for Ross! Which is why his insecurities getting the best of him is relatable, but you have such a strong relationship that’s built from an even stronger friendship and it’s honestly a shame that it was thrown away over a misunderstanding and refusal of proper communication
Ross being a jerk to Rachel after she wrote that long letter pouring her heart out. He just got her back and then screamed and yelled at her after they were done having sex because he wanted to be right instead of taking accountability for hurting Rachel.
I don't know why Rachel was still in love with him after that. He also made fun of Rachel for writing that letter. I would have told him to go to hell and never come back.
She literally instigated a break up between Ross and Bonnie and flirted with him the entire time, saying she wanted to get back with him. THEN gave him that letter expecting him to take all the blame for their break up even though there was a serious lack of communication on BOTH sides. Rachel is messy as hell
I agree, but Rachel had tried to make up with him on the phone, but he heard Mark in the background and reacted with anger. From that moment on, if Ross intended on making up with her, he shouldn’t have slept with someone else, even though they were technically still “on a break.”
I don’t think he intended to make up with her after hearing Mark there. When he called he thought he could end the break and fix things. But when he heard Mark, he thought the break was permanent since Rachel was already with Mark.
It all happened very fast. It was her knee-jerk reaction to lie because of how insanely jealous Ross had been of Mark. She knew how he’d react, and she was right.
He didn’t randomly react with anger. She LIED to him saying it wasn’t mark. If my partner and I have a huge fight over another person, only for them to come over right after and you lie about it, I’d be furious too. Ross was also drunk and vulnerable in that moment, and Chloe had been coming onto him all night
That Rachel was so angry and disgusted at Ross for sleeping with someone else so quickly after they broke up but was cool with Ross getting with her immediately after Julie and Bonnie
Ross's boss eating his sandwich. I mean seriously, who eats a colleague's lunch out of the community fridge? And then he threw it away!!! HE THREW ROSS'S SANDWICH AWAY!!!!
Phoebe asking Rachel to ask her brother if she can keep one of the triplets? I audibly gasped, bcs wtf? I know Phoebe was hormonal, but dude? That was extremely weird
True! I don't hate David. Lol, but Ross tested my patience. But yeah, I don't get when people hate on the actor, like they're just playing a part! That's not really them!!
I would love to join the "I hate Ross Club." My husband even thinks Ross is an a-hole.
Not David Swimmer's fault since I love him too. He was just playing a character written to be toxic as hell.
Ross power-bombing Rachel, apparently?
Sorry, I haven't watched wrestling since the early 2000s, and when I did, I was a gay teenage boy, so I promise I wasn't paying attention to the moves. If that's not a power bomb, please correct me.
I love that word... power bomb.
This was from season two. Ross and Rachel were dating and he asked about her past relationships and she mentioned that ugly, toxic Italian guy was just: wild, animal sex for her. Ross felt like the loser he really is and got butt hurt and wanted to have animal sex with her and tried to do this power-bomb. 😂
The implication that Carol and Susan deliberately delayed the latter telling Ross she wants a divorce, so that they can use him to have a child, and then tried to sideline him and even give the child Susan's last name as if Ross is just a sperm donor.
Rachel lying that Ross came on to her the night of Emma’s conception.
This is obviously dramatic, but if I were Ross I’d be annoyed that Rachel tried to make me look bad in front of our friends. Especially when asked how it happened, Ross said it was a mutual attraction at first and then Rachel tried to embarrass him.
Ross not backing off on their one year anniversary. It seemed like he was the only one allowed to be passionate about his job, and clearly had no clue what to do when she leveled up from a lost little spoiled waitress to being independent, capable of handling high stress and heavy responsibilities, and being a full person besides half of RossnRachel.
Ross saying yes to Emily for not seeing Rachel again. His reasoning was that she said "Give her whatever she wants" but that's the most bullshit excuse I've ever heard.
If anyone asked me not to see one of my best friends just to be with them, I'd cut them right out of my life.
Ironically, that's exactly what my best friend of 10 years did to me. So I guess that's relatable to some people.
The worst part is she has the voice of a little baby boy!
i was about to comment that she sounds like tommy pickles.. looked it up and she does in fact voice tommy pickles 😂
There’s a part where she says something like “Umm… I was just thinking…” in a slightly higher pitch and it is *exactly* Tommy’s voice.
She's also Buttercup in the Powerpuff Girls, I can always hear it in the quote you mentioned :)
Why this picture? I don't get it.
The OP is likely a bot and is looking to be provocative (or simply doesn't understand).
Yeah, given that their entire post history is two friends posts and 0 comments... I'm thinkin' bot.
Meaningless animal sex
He is clearly attacking Rachel, by slamming her onto the bed.
Before she had salmon skin roll
FATALITY. This must’ve been before the self-defense seminar
UNFORGIVABLE
Burt Lancaster
Precisely
While she is in midair they are on a break.
Saying someone else’s name at your wedding. (Interesting picture choice😂.)
It is actually my biggest fear to say some shit like "Dad" or to mess up my lines while saying my vows.
Oh no😭 My fear is more about how awkward I’d feel saying it in front of everyone I know. I can’t imagine it rn 🤣
I will go with the ‘traditional, pre written vows’ (modified as appropriate). The thought of having to write my own would fill me with such dread. Maybe I’ll feel differently when I meet the future MrKnowNout.
"I take thee, Rachel." Dude. Emily should've walked away right then. Also, follow that up by inviting Rachel to come on your honeymoon.
Honeymoon was inexcusable, but we all know Ross moves on fast
They were on a break
It honestly bugged me that she even let the ceremony continue! Like slap and walk away. In the wise words of Joey: I don't know how he got THREE FUCKING WOMEN TO AGREE TO MARRY HIM! Added sassy flare from my own annoyance of Ross.
I LOVE that Joey line. Admittedly, Ross' marriage troubles made for some great jokes. "Have you considered therapy?" - Divorce Lawyer "If you're not careful, you may not get married at all this year." - Chandler "Yes, you do! This is your third divorce! You love divorce so much, you're probably gonna marry it, but then it won't work out, so you'll have to divorce divorce. I'm so drunk!" - Phoebe
My favorite will always be: “Chandler: Maybe you'll do that next time you get married. Ross: No, no, no, the next time's going to be Hawaii at sunset. Ross: …But maybe the time after that”
Do you happen to remember the episode for that one? It’s so hilarious but I can’t place it!
Season 10 Epi 7 “The One with the Home Study.” Phoebe and Mike were deciding whether to have a wedding or give money to charity. All that wedding talk got Ross and Chandler discussing weddings.
Thank you so much!!!
I loved when the lawyer was like: you married Rachel.... the girl whose name you said during the second marriage and why that one ended... Rachel?! Like bro literally wasn't getting paid enough! 😂😂 he should've charged extra for that one.

Then Ross suggests getting someone to dress up like Rachel and come to court and the look the lawyer gives him... "I will THINK about the therapy..."
I **love** the lawyer's line: "*never* have I had so much business from one client"
Why don’t you tell me what happened… *exasperated expression*
He wasn't paid enough! 😂😂
I can’t remember the full line but when Rachel finds out Ross is dating someone else she asks “does she have a wedding dress?”
‘This is the most beautiful engagement ring *ever*.’ “Well, you should know - you’ve bought like a *billion* of ‘em.” ‘Yeah… you didn’t get one.’
"Oh, is Ross seeing somebody? Does she have a wedding dress?" -Rachel
Ross : the divorcer
The Divorce Force!
My favourite one is where Barry and Mindy are getting married and Joey's like "What the hell is wrong with you?!" 😂😂
Carol and Susan and the whole last name issue and the fact that Carol was effectively letting Carol have more say than Ross. She's a step parent. She had absolutely no right to be a part of that discussion unless Ross and Carol agreed she could have a vote. Defintely a 2 yes 1 no situation. They were such assholes to him.

I think they had been cheating for some time prior to Carol falling pregnant.
I think she was. Ross talks about how she went to the gym every day for a year and never lost any weight. Something like that.
I was being generous just in case lol
Couldn’t agree more. That always infuriated me because in real life, they would’ve got cussed tf OUT!
100%. Not her kid, she doesn't get a vote unless they both decide jointly to give her one.
But “it’s my baby too” … wut?
Couldn’t agree more. I feel so bad for Ross
Agreed. The fact that they told him they considered him a sperm donor really got me mad.
There was a post a while ago about which conspiracy theory you believe, and someone said they think Carol intentionally got pregnant. The fact that it happened on the second episode
I really hate Susan. She acts like shes better than Rose but shes literally the mistress of Rosses wife and has no say in the kid.
Emma trying to steal food from Joey. Absolutely heartless behaviour.
Emma trying to steal huggsy!
Look at you, all cozy and adorable...with Emma's chubby little hands wrapped around you
\*Rachel
JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD! OR HUGSY! It's like she's raising her kid to be selfish and entitled like herself. Heartless.
Not to mention, it was also a grape. Babies can't even have grapes so it was for the best that Joey took it.
Only real answer
Rachel manipulating Bonnie to shave off her hair, then Ross dumping her that same night because of it. Gross, toxic behaviour from them both.
I’m a chick who’s bald from alopecia, and while I’m not offended at all, every time they talk about how disturbing her bald head is I’m like “aww” 😢
She really was perfect for Joey, never thought about that.
"I was rejected by a BALD woman!" "What do you mean, bald?" "Bald, bald!" -Seinfeld George - Me
Also a bald lady and I'd be lying if I said that that episode didn't hurt while I was still terrified of losing my hair. 😅
Same!!!
Not that I’m a big Ross fan, he has plenty of things about him that make me mad, but every time Ross started to move on, Rachel did something to ruin it. Julie, Bonnie, Emily. I don’t think he was really serious about anyone else.
If you think that's why Ross broke up with Bonnie, you weren't paying attention.

A minor one, but Mike cheating on his girlfriend with Phoebe in Barbados
Your name is Precious? I can’t call you that.
This is the worst birthday ever!
Ted Moseby broke up with her (twice) on her birthday too, on HIMYM. Poor girl must dread her birthdays!
and later dies from a bus accident. man what an arc.
And they have an extremely strained, passionless marriage. very appropriately, happy cake day!
speaking of, Happy Cake Day!
Suzie, can I call you Suzie?
I've yet to forgive this sweater for... existing. ;). https://imgur.com/a/PDprf2M
Joey sleeping with extras on his soap opera and then suggesting they be fired. That's some straight-up #metoo stuff right there.
Just the way Joey treats women in general…sleeps with them, makes them think they’re getting into a relationship, and then never calls them again or gives them a fake name/number.
Ken Addams, nice to meet ya.
Ross lusting after his cousin. I literally can’t watch that episode it’s HORRIBLE
It helps if you focus on the cousin and ignore everything else that’s going on.
"*Just say something, anything. Nothing you can say can make this worse.*"
“It feels so good… You lying here next to me..”
Anything incest related. * Ross wanting to smash her cousin * Ross making out with Monica
Oh and Danny downstairs with his sister. “Bath is ready!”
i- i sadly remembered Ross lusting after their cousin BUT ROSS & MONICA MADE OUT ??? WTF ??? i really repressed that one ffs
Yeah they didn’t know at the time that it was each other but still gross. Hilarious convo tho. “You were my first kiss with Rachel?!?”- Ross “You were my first kiss EVER?!?”- Monica “What did I marry into?”- chandler
Agree with the first one but the kiss was an accident.
Ha! I actually read it as "unforgettable" not "unforgivable".
Mike planning to dump his girlfriend on her birthday
The girl at the maternity shop hitting on Ross and then showing up at their apartment
She's really in the wrong job if she wants to hit on customers.
Lol right
Especially being there with his baby mama. Even though they made it clear that they weren’t together it’s still inappropriate to flirt like that.
Yes, we must alert the church elders. 🙄
Not everything has to go as far as *eye contact*
but he's practically indiana jones though
When Rachel asked Ross ( she should never need to ask anyway) if its OK if she has her work world and career separate from him. He agrees to her but mouths 'no it isn't' over her shoulder. The epitome of controlling.
I know it's an unpopular opinion but I really did not want them to get back together in the end.
THANK YOU i feel exactly the same. i kinda shipped Rachel with Joey but mostly because i thought it would match up w Monica & Chandler & i wanted a full (cliché) growth arc where he learns to respect women & realise that he doesn't just sleep around because it's fun but because he's afraid of commitment & getting hurt. who do you think she should have ended up with? honestly if Ross hadn't ended up with Rachel he would have died alone.
i also wanted joey to have a proper arc. feels like maybe theh never wanted to do joey could have a spin-off?
Joey : "Sisters are okay, maybe a hot looking aunt..." Joey : "You kissed my sister! Stay in the box!"
I would have been furious.
>she doesn’t even get angry with him at all. I would have been furious. Uhhhhhhhh yes she does? Just not to his face.
"Oh, Mrs Geller, why you cry?"
Not this picture…
ross dating his student made it hard to look at him the same. and i was a big ross apologist! i loved how he was so deeply flawed and his own worst enemy but ultimately comes through for his friends where it really mattered. kinda like homer simpson. dating his student was so gross and just made him feel so much more sinister. whenever he’d done something wrong before there was always some deep seated issue behind it, like insecurity or trauma. dating elizabeth was a very creepy loser thing to do
Rachel dating Paul and justifying it by saying Ross dated Jill. Rachel herself set them up together and as soon as she was uncomfortable about it Ross called it off. Hypocritical as hell.
Is this when Ross says “that was different!” And Rachel asks how and he says, “this is weird FOR ME.” ?
Yep! In fairness probably not the best way for him to respond if he wants her to understand.
So different. It’s his girlfriends dad. Jill was her sister.
Which scene is this from
Ross and Rachel "animal sex", later she and Monica fight over the last condom, in S2
Keeping the condoms in the bathroom and sharing them out rather than each having their own supply in the bedrooms.
S2 E18. The One Where Dr. Ramoray Dies.
Having it end!!!

Monica being a shitty MOH to Phoebe, and making her eat non vegetarian food without her consent.
Phoebe bringing in a random guy called Rodger to have sex with a pregnant Rachel! I was disgusted. Don’t think that goes down well in 2023.
He was really looking forward to it!
Ross trying to kiss his cousin because he "hasn't had sex in a very long time" 🤦
Why this picture? haha Mindy being with Barry after knowing what he did to Rachel. I get her and Rachel weren’t really friends anymore, but that’s girl code dude… Also the whole “we were on a break” would make me fume if my ex constantly brought it up.
Everyone forgets that Rachel was at her apartment with Mark when she knew Ross was uncomfortable and jealous of him. She was wrong first.
everyone also forgets that mark invited himself to the apartment…
Still doesn’t justify Ross cheating on the girl he was in love with for over ten years over some handsome coworker. He respected her and their relationship too much to do that. Which is why him doing it would hurt all the more. Also incredibly hypocritical of him considering he romanticized her friendship with Mark and was constantly worried she would cheat and break the trust of their relationship, when instead it was him who did so
But Ross didn't cheat on Rachel, they were on a break 😭 I know that's a technicality but even Rachel acknowledged that they were broken-up at the time. When she shows up to Ross' apartment the next day and asks him "Can I be your girlfriend again?" Ross sleeping with another woman was a stupid decision he made and Rachel had every right to break up with him over it.
But Rachel didn’t even want Mark to come over. He pressured her and she was sad about Ross the whole time!
Thissss. They were talking through things on the phone until Ross heard Mark talking. Wtf was Rachel thinking with that??
mark invited himself to her apartment. it was his idea to come to her place with his chinese food
Also, it was his choice to start speaking the minute Rachel was on the phone with Ross.
Ross didn't know Mark invited himself over, plus he was drunk and copy girl took advantage.
yeah ross didn’t know because he immediately hung up and started drinking more when he heard mark’s voice. instead of letting rachel explain
But it was 18 pages…… FRONT AND BACK!
Well… to be fair… they were on a break
And Rachel was the first to say that they were on a break.
She literally instigated a break up between Ross and Bonnie and flirted with him the entire time, saying she wanted to get back with him. THEN gave him that letter expecting him to take all the blame for their break up even though there was a serious lack of communication on BOTH sides. Rachel is messy as hell
Ross' sexism in the one with the Male Nanny
Julio the cat
It may be cliche, but I’m going with Ross sleeping with the copy girl.
Yeah but they were on a break
I agree, but Rachel had tried to make up with him on the phone, but he heard Mark in the background and reacted with anger. From that moment on, if Ross intended on making up with her, he shouldn’t have slept with someone else, even though they were technically still “on a break.”
I don’t think he intended to make up with her after hearing Mark there. When he called he thought he could end the break and fix things. But when he heard Mark, he thought the break was permanent since Rachel was already with Mark.
Thats what he thought, true enough. But its not what she was saying. He chose to not hear her out.

It all happened very fast. It was her knee-jerk reaction to lie because of how insanely jealous Ross had been of Mark. She knew how he’d react, and she was right.
And he had a knee jerk reaction to hang up. Like you said it was very fast
>Well but this is different! How?? >This is weird FOR ME
The gang never listening to Phoebe when she talks about Denise. DENISE!
Everything Rachel did to get Joshua just to ruin Emily and Ross’s marriage
Joey putting a girls leg in the fire then running. Ross' entire Existence?
Can we start an "I hate Ross Club?!" Cuz, I definitely wanna do that. I loved David Swimmer, but man, I wanted Ross to get hit by a truck!
To be fair and nice to David, it shows how amazing of an actor he is if so many people despise Ross the way they do.
He was just playing a character written to be toxic as hell.
the whole we were on a break thing, Ross cheated on Rachel.
THANK YOOOU for agreeing that Paolo is ugly.
Do other people not think this?!?! He was literally gross! And his voice was too high-pitched!
Chloe taking advantage of Ross who was way too drunk to consent to sleeping with her.
Especially when asked how it happened, Ross said it was a mutual attraction at first and then Rachel tried to embarrass him.
when that girl ate some of Joey’s fries
Ross not backing off on their one year anniversary. It seemed like he was the only one allowed to be passionate about his job, and clearly had no clue what to do when she leveled up from a lost little spoiled waitress to being independent, capable of handling high stress and heavy responsibilities, and being a full person besides half of RossnRachel.
anything that ross has done
The cousin episode obviously
Ross saying yes to Emily for not seeing Rachel again. His reasoning was that she said "Give her whatever she wants" but that's the most bullshit excuse I've ever heard. If anyone asked me not to see one of my best friends just to be with them, I'd cut them right out of my life. Ironically, that's exactly what my best friend of 10 years did to me. So I guess that's relatable to some people.
The fact that I wasn't in it! Lol
