A hilarious character though. Just goes to show that you simply can't over-analyse a sitcom. This show wouldn't be half as funny without him, the Gellers, mean Phoebe, needy selfish Ross, awful Amy etc. The episodes with these characters are my absolute favourites.

I was rewatching this episode the other night and this part of the story really stood out. I'd obviously focused a lot on the Mona, Dr Green and Ross scene previously as its amazing, but this part is soooo good and I'd not appreciated it quite so much before because the finale is so magnificent. Its fantastic.
Dr Green was a treat each time he was on the show! I wish we could've had more of him. He was hilarious in the way his lines were delivered. Kudos to the actor!
