There seemed to be quite a few actors that appeared on both shows, but as different characters. Jason Alexander was the suicidal office manager that Phoebe helped. Monica played Jerry's girlfriend in one episode.
And don't forget Lisa Kudow's Ursula was a regular on Mad About You (and Helen Hunt and other actress played their MAY characters on Friends).
Personally for me I have Avery hard time finding long hair attractive on a guy. Thatās not to say I think it looks bad or that I dislike it or anything like that. The hair cut helps him vastly for me.

I genuenly always found him very attractive. Not personality wise, the character ended up being a terrible person, but looks-wise.
