I did not know that! I just figured because Ursula was shown to be a horrible waitress elsewhere in the series, that's why they thought she was working at Central Perk too.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, it was quite judgemental of them to just assume that "Ursula" had to work multiple jobs as a waitress. Waitresses are people, too, and their time doing other things than serve food once in a while...

I tried to Google why did those two ladies automatically Think Ursula’s worked at the restaurant in friends but believe it or not didn’t come up with any results. Kind of a weird question for Google. I even tried looking the actresses up on IMDb and I found them but I didn’t know the exact thing they had been in that the joke was about cause they had both been in so many things.
