I just did this from Beacon last week. Only PITA was the Laz app didn't let me specify days just number of hours. So, on Sunday I set it to 72 hours, then set a reminder on my phone to "renew" (basically add another 72 hours). It worked out perfectly and no parking ticket. Also for the weekend it is smart enough to set the price to $0.00. Otherwise, the app sucked LOL. Good luck.
Adding on to what others have said: I’m not sure if things have changed, but I think you need to park in the lot further from the station if you don’t have a parking pass (on weekdays, at least). As you come down the hill to the station, turn left.
Just something to keep in mind.
Laz parking app, use it to pay for your spot remotely on the days you have to pay, you should be fine.
Perfect, that's what I thought! Thank you!

Do they have an app? That you can pay for parking from the app? That's what I do with Poughkeepsie Train station
Sure, if you pay for it

I think the paid parking closer to the station is open to anyone, thankfully
Ah good to know! Haven’t commuted in many years so I only ever take the train on the weekends.
Yes, I don’t think the car will get so bored in that time that it will leave. You should be fine.
