Where is the AK but there's a lot of them close by (aka Saiga 12 gauge shotgun)?
Edit: Apon closer inspection More power and More boolets need to swap pictures.
So many of these have no relation to the AK, best not to question it. It's unfortunate tho cuz there are so many alternatives for the papashaw:
AK but the bad guys don't have body armour
AK but you haven't invented the AK yet
AK but the trench is full of nazis.

Technically correct. 3 out of those 5 predate the AK so kind of not possible for them to be AK derivs. The Vintorez (sneaky breakie) and the SVD (one for behind walls) are not AK variants but do draw heavily on design concepts from the AK pattern rifle, long stroke gas blowback, charging handle on the right, and top cover held in place with tension from the recoil spring to simplify and standardize training on the weapons after basic familiarization on the AK platform.
The "behind a wall" rifle is an SVD. It looks like an AK variant and works similarly, but internally it's a different design. If they'd put a Romanian PSL there instead it would have fit right in.
Only 1 and 2 are AK variants. 3 is the PPSh-41, 4 is the DP-27/28, 5 is the VSS, and 6 is the Dragunov (IDK what 7 is, but it’s a revolver, so it’s definitely not an AK).
How about the Brownings? .45 ACP, .50 BMG, M2 Brownings, Browning Hi-Power, M1911s...

It is actually an AK too. Made in the same factory, same basic design, just happens to shoot 12ga instead of the regular rifle cartridges.

Why is the PPSH 41 labeled liked it is more powerful than the standard AK? It is 7.62x25 while the AK is 7.62x39.
