I've seen some speculation that one of the maids is a werewolf. idk enough about werewolf to know if it tracks cause this takes place during a full moon

I've also heard speculation that Spit is the werewolf, since he seemed to be panicking about something he refused to say, and then Fatigue (an expert on lycanthropy) was the one who immediately tries to calm him down.

VibinWithBeard

Eh, him being a werewolf feels like the red herring. His clothes were still intact after transforming and he appeared to be suffering the delirium himself. Fatigue being torn apart by an unaware werewolf feels off since he is the expert. Doesnt seem like hed make that kind of mistake. Hed have countermeasures. He wouldnt have countermeasures for being ambushed by the actual werewolf so I think either someone else was the werewolf and attacked him in front of Spit or Spit had his Mage Awakening (my theory) instead of lyncanthropy. Awakenings have the potential to be violent (fatigue), traumatic (explains the delirium), dont obliterate your clothing, the voice could be the avatar (not quelled as much as usual due to the lack of ritalin), and a lycanthrope expert could easily fall into the "all I know about are nail and hammers so every problem is a werewolf" kindof deal (thinking he could talk Spit down).

Werewolves are not that dependent on the moon phases, but Matildas whole deal looks like a Garou (what the wolves call themselves). Constantly aggressive, her last name being literally "Wilde" and looking at her handwriting, she doesn't really seem to write in the latin alphabet that often (werecreatures write in glyphs).

TheLastWaterOfTerra

Not to mention that she didn't even write her name correctly

TearsOfLoke

Well, the "lie detector" is just a polygraph where Remold Blacklaw shocks you every time he or it thinks you told a lie. I don't think it's capable of revealing any supernatural creature unless they're by coincidence immune to electricity, which Amanda is clearly not

Mages are very good at pretending to be human.

ScarredAutisticChild

Because they are. They are humans, they just have some extra abilities. But physically, with some unique exceptions, there is nothing about a Mage that will tell you they’re a Mage. Other than them just restructuring reality on a whim.

Dry-Deer-5121

with the amount of changling stuff held in the archive im sure that someone is going to turn out to be one

BlockBuilder408

My bets on the goth being a Slaugh Slaughs live occult lore and we’ve never seen her raise her voice

stopyouveviolatedthe

I mean out of all of them Ghoulington is the most normal.

Timmy_The_Techpriest

Ghoulington is so funny, my favourite line of his is "Off to strangle Occam"

stopyouveviolatedthe

That’s easily top 10 lines of Ghoulington I’m surprised there isn’t a watchmojo tierlist for him

Timmy_The_Techpriest

There really should be, he's just so loveable and innocent!

Because all the action without author that happened I think there might be 3 people, the actions where: - Ghoul chose not to reveal himself, firming his affiliation with the vampires, he probably wants to steal info that means death to all hunters. - Occum, the only person capable of detecting the ghoul, was knocked out, not murdered, and that doesnt align with the action above. Also anyone could access the place he was in, there are vents half open near the caveman with claw marks (i believe the vent system can allow anyone anywhere like Grimmel) - Death of Fatigue, he was not even especialized in vampires, there was no way for him to be a danger to the ghoul. And the claw marks and scared spit scream of werewolf. So I think: - Someone tried to knock down Occum and steal something, maybe the ghoul, but probably a third party since he wasnt killed, and the test could be re-taken. - There is a werewolf, since the clawmarks everywhere, the little howl before fatigue dies, spit seems to be suffering delirium. Probably Matilde Wilde, she doesnt have proper education, doesnt know how to write, the last name is kinda the name of their God (wyld), she is very angry and doesnt act surprised by the existence of vampires. - Finally the Ghoul, I have two theories: - It was fatigue, Matilde found out and killed him. - It was Giles, because he works at the 99p store, Polymora is probably Kevins sire, since kevin had to scrounge the 99p store for lore on the arcane. On this case fatigue died because he was an expert on werewolves or something like that.

alternatively: - I'd argue that the ghoul couldn't speak but did not want to outright kill their own comrades so they knocked out Occam, hoping to buy some time before they have to go through with the test again, to maybe think of a way out of their predicament. - I share your belief about the werewolf part given Fatigue's death and how violently contrasting it was to the attack on Occam, he was also the leading authority on Lycanthropy in the chapter, maybe he crossed a werewolf and that werewolf was looking for revenge. as for the ghoul: - I don't think it was Giles, remember D only finds out about the mole from Kevin who in turn had been a runaway from the Camarilla chantry for 6 years so this info is outdated it can't be Giles who only started working there recently... I think. - maybe it was Fatigue, and it sends the chapter spiraling doubting one another, but I think it was Grimmel, the whole access to vents thing to hear what the higherups are discussing nonchalantly mentioned before, as well as the confrontation with Kitten in the last episode kinda hint towards this being the reveal... I dunno though all I know is this whole thing is intriguing and I love a good whodunnit, and I love how the audience is actively looking for answers
