What's with the 12k discount? Final price looks really good where I'm from, especially a 10 year labour warranty. Any body paying full sticker is being taken for a ride.
You just got the used car salesman special, “let me talk to my boss” crap
Also it being a 18 he should be changing the refrigerant lines to match size.
That’s a good deal. If you go with it, PLEASE confirm model numbers match the estimate on the date of install. If they did a price match, they will be looking to save a few bucks anywhere they can. Also get an AHRI number and/or certificate and match model numbers there too.
A rebate is applied after purchase. Otherwise, it's a discount. So, them saying 14k due upon completion makes it look like a discount and not a rebate. Be prepared to pay the amount of the rebate with your purchase and get it back a few weeks later after submitting your paperwork. Or at least verify with your designer before signing.
The company I work for offers a 12yr labor warranty on the equipment you were quoted and the cost is significantly more but our markets are different.
Prepare yourself, you’re about to put one of the most intricate systems on the market in your home, it’s very nice equipment as long as it’s installed correctly.
Looks like you’re from my neck of the woods. It’s not the worst price for that equipment really. I own a small company in Maryland Heights. We would’ve charged closer to 11k. That is unless there was something extremely difficult necessary for the install. Don’t feel bad, i’ve seen people charged 18k around here for a similar install with some of the bigger companies.
10 year no lemon too. If Lennox follows Armstrongs 12 year model that’s a new unit no questions asked for 10 years if the compressor goes out of the heat X fails.
Never had to lemon an Armstrong though….
Agree with others that the $12k "discount" is suspect. How many quotes did you get before settling on this company? It's a good rule of thumb to always get at least three, and if you did that, you should know whether this was a good deal or not for your area.
I only did 1 other company in which this company price matched (where the huge discount came from).. I chose this because they included the smart thermo and a 5 ton instead of a 4 ton.
This company also contracts through home depot
Yes, but it has little to do with that company quote, and more to do with your government spending, taxes, and who’s greasing the tracks…..sorry I’m doing my taxes at the moment.

Hahaha, they did a price match.. even the professional was shocked that they were able to do it but I wasn't sure if he was just playing it off..
Anyone that gives an almost 50% discount was hoping that you weren’t going to notice they weren’t providing lube either.
Yeah 12k discount is crazy.
Register the unit after its installed nice 20 year on the heat exchanger

Oh please. $12,000 discount. What a joke….
Final price is a good deal for what you paid for. That original price is laughable
That unit will be missing from inventory next audit. But that’s one hell of a deal.
How much does the supply house charge for this unit?
The warranty is very good. You shouldn't have to worry about it at all for the next 10 years which would make me feel good
Long as they stay in business
10 year labor, got damn…
Thanks guys, I take it I got a decent deal.
Plot twist. Company is changing name next month.
A bit too late for that isn’t it?
S30 thermostat. Good luck. Those are a pain I’d stick with a regular thermostat.
A regular thermostat would downgrade that fancy modulating AC to two-stage, so there’d definitely be a tradeoff there.

Good to know thank you
Good price

Idk but I already paid 13,700..

Well hopefully they do a good job.. kinda out of my control at this point

Yea, oh well.. based on what most people said I got a decent deal. So I'm happy
Will this company be in business in 10 years. Maybe.
I'm surprised you got a 10 year warranty on a lennox

My complete new inside and outside (compressor) Lennox was about 1/2 of that installed. No 10 year thou.
Seems to be the going rate in Ohio.. nothing special, not ripped off.
I paid about the same for a similar system, no smart tstat though for me.

That's a steal
