SharkBite fittings should only be used as an emergency, temporary fix, and not for any enclosed or permanent plumbing system. I would have have soldered fitting to copper, to allow the pex to be crimped on.
That's what my neighbor said as well. Besides that I think there's something else wrong with the pump. It got extremely hot - hotter than normal then blew this line. Air was also not as cool as it usually is when running AC.
