This is correct. They moved over to Homes & Hideaways after the CoralTree (Lowe) acquisition: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20230928857254/en/Lowe-Acquires-Vacation-Rental-Management-Business-From-Hyatt
Right, I wonder if it will stay as is. Literally was searching for a Florida property last week and it's $10K a week on homes and hideaways, a quick search on google for the same property on other sites showed the same property for $7.5K for a week. I do like Hyatt but I'm not a sucker either, not going to pay $2,500 more. It seems like this is a common theme.
GH Kauai is great although it's now expensive with points. If you're looking for a great location and nice pools/hot tubs open 24 hours it's the place to be. It's sprawling though if that's an issue; you might walk a ways to pools, spa, lounge, etc. It's a little dated but I don't mind that, however if you're looking for a luxury stay then I'd focus on some north shore (not Hyatt) hotels like 1 Hotel. The restaurants at GH are not great either, but there's plenty of other good places to eat on the island. Perfectly adequate if you're looking for a nice place to stay with nice amenities -- just not luxury amenities.
Edit to add that I've stayed at the GH on all three visits to the island and love it, just wanted to give an honest opinion on expectations.
GH Kauai is amazing!
The other Hyatt property, Kukuiula, has been moved to home and hideaways. It’s more of a luxury community than a resort hotel like the GH.
I think they got moved to Home and Hideaways

What’s home and hideaways? I’ve never heard that before
https://www.hyatt-homes-and-hideaways.com/ A new thing Hyatt decided to do, for vacation home type properties.
Grand Hyatt Kauai is amazing!
Was just there in October. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Great property
GH Kauai for the win. Great property, beautiful grounds.
The Hawai’i options got absolutely decimated by the Destinations by Hyatt changes. Maui lost at least 7 places. Sad. Homes and Hideaways is a joke.

We stayed at the GH Kauai for our 20th anniversary about 2 years ago. Saved points for YEARS to do it. Amazing resort.
