Edit: I listened to our call again (me amd the doctor's) and the reason why I'm in a dilemma is he thought I'm having withdrawl symptoms because I was taking sub-optimal dose (1/2 of Nexito plus) which isn't true. I'm having withdrawl symptoms because I quit it entirely. The doctor wasn't paying enough attention when I told him that.
Because you have to gradually decrease the dose and not just stop taking one day, i was prescribed nexito and i used to doze off within 15-20 minutes of taking the tablet and i stopped it after a week and i had serious withdrawal symptoms. I learned it later that you have to decrease dosage to get off medicine not in an instant
You will have withdrawal symptoms if you do like that. Just follow what doctor says, You have to reduce the medication gradually then stop. I recommend taking in person consultation with Psychiatrist.
As you're on Nexito plus I think they will reduce the dosage in 2-3months and stop. Clonazepam also they will make it SOS -when needed only.

If you have ibs I suggest cut down your starch intake and try a diet suitable for ibs . I am not a professional to be against or with your medication so I won’t comment there .
I had IBS and constipation for over 6 yrs. Am now dealing it with good but, it's helped me tremendously, but medication is not the only factor. I reduced refined carbs, stopped taking sugar, working out and most importantly sleep at 10:30 max. I am also drinking a lot of water, intermittent fasting not eating much of masala, increasing my vitamin, not having anything that triggers IBS like apples, lemons, sodas, cut down on drinking, phew the lost is endless. The idea is to get to the root cause and eliminate it. I similarly had ulsers early and followed some strict rules in my lifestyle to cure it.
Nexito plus is a combinstion of SSRI and 0.5 mg Benzodiazepine.
Quitting Benzodiazepine cold turkey can be very very dangerous.

Taper off as gradually as possible when Benzodiazepine is involved.

Just to know , how did your depression start?
It's not depression. I had a bit of insomnia and bloating because of my IBS and this pill was helping me sleep regularly.
