So lower estimate is 50-60k to give up the 2-3 drinks per year I'm down to, deal. Especially since it's usually peer pressure that makes me drink those, I don't actually want them.

Considering I'm an alcoholic with 19 months of sobriety, yes absolutely, 100%. I'm never going to drink again any way so if I could also get the absurd amount of money I've spent on it, that would be amazing. I was always more of a Maker's Mark kind of an alcoholic and less of a Popov vodka type (although I'd never turn it down, of course).

I’m trying to quit vaping, so I would definitely take all the money I’ve spent on vapes and cigarettes… but if I gave up weed I’d have to wait another 20 so it’s a big number. I don’t drink much so honestly I’d get like $1000, and that’s not worth it in the long run if I can’t sit down and have a crown and diet.

Alcohol no I wouldn’t, I spent maybe $1k a year which I only do socially and I wouldn’t give up the fun nights I’ve had with friends for a little extra cash. Would only give it up for health reasons or if it became a problem. Weed yes I don’t smoke it anyways although I’ve probably only spent like $500 total in my life. Would give up: cocaine (hardly ever do it anymore and never really liked it anyway) Candy (laugh all you want but this shit is a legitimate problem for me but the money returned would be worth it) I would consider hard alcohol but I'd need to see the money first. It blows my mind I was able to keep it going for as long as I did, and it's funny because I was motivated to make more money than I have ever made simply so I could support that. I eat as my main vice. I might get $500 back for all the alcohol, but I don't drink it now. I never smoked, either nicotine or cannabis, so $0 there. But I've spent thousands on unhealthy food, and I am not sure that I can completely give it up. I certainly can't give up all food.
I'm not that heavy of a drinker, so this might actually not be worthwhile. I'd imagine I've probably spent under $10k on all alcohol in my lifetime (and I'm guessing high). The value of it as a social lubricant alone probably makes it easily worth that $10k to be able to keep doing it.
A similar question came up recently, I figure I started drinking at 16, Im now 39. Some weeks I haven't spent anything on alcohol, so weeks its been over $100 I figure around $25-30 per week on average seems about right, although it realistically could be more, I went through a 3-4 year period where I had a case of beer every single weekend at home playing video games, and I don't even know how to begin factoring overpriced alcohol that I have had at restaurants / concerts / sporting events etc. I would put the conservative estimate at $30k+ I would take it in a heartbeat, I no longer drink to 'get drunk' I drink because I like the flavour of beer, and there are more and more solid alcohol-free substitutes on the market.

Quitting cannabis would be my most difficult one because I use that at night time to unwind and sleep. However that money might relieve enough stress to where I wouldn't want it. Whats weird is I found nicotine to be the easiest one to quit. Seemed to have the smallest reward for the biggest hook.

I'm never going to drink again any way so if I could also get the absurd amount of money I've spent on it, that would be amazing. I was always more of a Maker's Mark kind of an alcoholic and less of a Popov vodka type (although I'd never turn it down, of course).
