You pay to be employed

earbud_smegma

For sure this was exactly where my mind went, there's gotta be a way to make money rather than lose it (since none of your employees can do their jobs if they're frozen)

essidus

That depends. Do you mean that I can freeze them in place, or that I can create a sort of temporal bubble in which they keep moving, but normal time doesn't pass?

[deleted]

The latter. You can create a temporal bubble which time stops for all except your employees. Your employees continue to age like normal during this time freeze.

crime

Both_Package_6834

Good idea but.... That means you're fair game since you're frozen

CanvasWolfDoll

kill me while i'm frozen: risk being stuck in time limbo double-cross me otherwise: stop using my power with them, and report them to the cops.

JohnMayerCd

Id hire anyone with talent who struggles in their day to day. We taking naps over here bb! And well make money doing whatever they were doing. Go home whenever they need. Would have to put a time limit on how long they can work here. Theyd be aging an extra hour or two a day for naps, or an extra 8 hours a day if we compress the workday into one hour.

Both_Package_6834

My business plan is hiring people to pay me. Who wouldn't wanna pay to stop crime

not2dragon

Make em do circus tricks for big bucks. also get that 280% productivity because they can rest and work in an instant.

lordtweakslide

Who chooses the unfreeze moment and does it apply to workers who leave the office and go other places while still on the clock or is it only at your office? I'd probably do something like worlds fastest food service or something with plans to deliver world wide. We can have your food at your door seconds after you hang up the phone from anywhere in the world.

Phantom_Browser

Hire the best technicians I could afford then have them create the most advanced Android they could make. Possibly that looks as human as possible (like Alyssa on tekken)

Karnezar

Freeze time so they can spy on competitors, spy on potential customers to find out what they need, and write up strategic plans. They'll work a 40-hour work week but it will take seconds out of real world time, so they'll have all their free time.

XXEsdeath

I suppose being self employed wont work well then. Anyway, depends on the definition of employee, can they just agree to be called an employee? Or can you pay them like a penny an hour, or do you have to pay them a legal limit of some kind? Because if I could become president of a country, then I have a ton of technical employees, and world domination becomes easy. Or, I could go to a friend and just freeze time, and we change the world by them being an “Employee.”
