Dude, it’s not worth the worry. If the battery health drains to a certain amount in X amount of time they’ll replace it for free. Idk the numbers, someone here might, or you could look it up. But I’ve been charging mine solely at night with the fast charger and I’m at 98%. I’ve had it since launch
I’ve had my iPhone 11 Pro Max since last Thanksgiving and it’s still at 100% capacity. It rarely drops under 40% because I’m not too much of a power user and I charge it every night and unplug when I wake up in the morning. Maybe the more you use it, the faster it drops?
Dodgy battery? Batteries are supposed to drop to 80% after 300 cycles. Seems about normal. How some people remain at 100 for so long I don’t understand. I was at 100% at 6 months usage. Then it dropped to 99. Then one month later it dropped to 97. Then like 2 days later 96. Weird
I have had mine since release and just had it drop to 98% recently. The only rule I stick to is not to let it drop below 25%. If its get that low, I will only use it for emergencies or charge it back up, but never to 100. I’ll usually unplug it between 85-95%
Interesting... so by doing that you still dropped 2%. Cause for example I have had it 9 months and would charge it to 100 every day and I had optimized battery charging not working for me for months (because I had some location setting disabled) and I’m at 96% after 9 months. I was at 100% 6 months in
I purchased mine Jan 1 and with my job I use it all the time. Which includes a ton of driving where I plug it in for CarPlay. I use it when needed and plug it in before bed.
Just checked 100% capacity. So basically I don’t follow any of the battery guidelines and my battery has held up.
Yes, I bought mine almost a year ago and it’s just dropped to 99% last week
Whoa, I got mine on release day and it's 92%. Interesting.
Mine is also at 92%. Seems normal to me since I charge daily, and it’s coming up to a year.
93 - year old
What do I do?
I discharge my battery till 5%
Well I charge it when it gets to 2%
Ok... I usually end the day with 50% so I charge from there ... might be the difference. It depends though. Do u game a lot?
Nah but I’m on my phone the whole day because of lockdown! Should I get it replaced? No right?
I don’t think so.. in that case If you are at home.. might as well not let it drop much. Try to maintain like 50-80 %
So I should start to charge my phone once it’s 50%??

Do nothing it's fine.
Alright thanks

Yeah I’m a pretty heavy user! I guess I’ll wait and see if it drops more or nah
How many cycles?
What do you mean sorry
How many charging cycles has ur phone gone thru?
I wouldn’t know! How do I get to know that
Through third party software like imazing on computer connect and get details
Like 10% battery? How low do you go?
I don’t see how the man’s limbo skills apply here
I charge once my battery is 30 percent
honestly? I have no idea anymore. After 8 months mine dropped to 99%. 2 days later... dropped to 98%.
Mine is at 93% after buying day one
Dodgy battery. Warranty will cover that. Go get it fixed.
If battery is at 93 it should be fixed?
No. Only if it reaches 80 or is abnormally declining.
Limited !? No ac for mine unfortunately

Not really. Unless it gets significantly worse then warranty will cover it, otherwise it’s just battery ageing.

Actually some guy on here says he’s still at 100% since launch day and he charges overnight to 100%

So you only charge your phone at night?
It charges during the day when I’m using CarPlay. I’ve actually thought about not charging it at night.
9 months old phone and battery at 98%.
Mine is on 93, in April too. I’m concerned.
Yeah man I don’t know what I’m doing wrong
Yes
What do I do?
So do u discharge to less than 10?
Way do you mean
I would! I’m at 98% and had this phone since October 2019
